Really nagging pain on side (outside) of breast

I've been having a strange pain on the outside side of my left breast. My leftie has had more "activity" in terms of feelings, sensations, pains, etc. since Day 1 ... my problem child, if you will, though it is the one that is dropping more than the other. Rightie has had little pain, just that engorged feeling, and is a little slower to drop, but is doing so in it's own sweet time, and that's fine, I get it's two different surgeries and expect there to be differences.

Back to leftie - so I have had this strange pain for the last few days, and last night, it was really bad, and I have a high pain tolerance. It's on the outside side of my breast, right about in the middle but closer to my armpit, and it felt kinda like a cross between a throbbing/burning/aching. It almost feels like there is 'something' in there aside from my breast that my body isn't keen on. Maybe this is a normal sensation ... maybe this is a 'zinger' ... not sure. I plan to call the PS office when they open this morning just to see what they think.

When I look at it, I don't see any bruising or collection of blood or anything near the skin. Everything looks normal. When I palpate in that area and push in a bit, the pain is kinda deep in ... almost like it's beyond the edge of the implant or maybe under it.

Does any of this sound at all familiar with what anyone else has felt, experienced, etc? Just curious. As I said, I will call PS office this morning when they open; I didn't think it was emergency material last night worth calling the on-call line, but I do plan to be on the horn at 9 am promptly.

Thanks ladies! This is the only somewhat concerning 'issue' I've had since my BA, so I hope it's nothing serious like a hematoma, CC, or something else.

It sounds like the nerve that runs from your nipple along side the outside of the breast. I had exact same problem and it is going away. The pain is the nerve regenenerating.

I have this pain as well on my left, I really do hope it is nerves regenerating because the lower half of my left is still completely numb

You sound like me... lefty hurts and righty is slow! Lol! Remember those nerves have been cut and/or stretched so they need time to heal! Try gently rubbing the painful area. This is helpful with the regeneration! It gets better! 10 days post op here and the pain on the side of my left breast is almost completely gone!

Hey KritterKat,
I'm a 600 and a 650. Are both of yours 650's? My 600 is dropping with a lot less pain and has much more movement than my 650 side. Just wondering if yours are still really high? I'm over this ridiculous tight and needle sticking pain! 3 weeks since my surgery as of yesterday. If that profile pic is of your new boobs, you look great! I'm still bruised and they had to put me on prednisone to help the swelling go down. Just didn't think I would be in this kind of pain for this long.
Thanks

This happened to me right out of surgery and every time I moved my arm wrong the pain started and felt like a crazy pinched nerve or something. Luckily it went away for me at around 1.5 weeks post op.

Yes, this is what happened to me. It got better as the implant dropped.

Thanks, my pic is of the new girls! I have 650s in both. They are still a little high at ten days post op but they aren't bad, all things considered. My right is a little higher bc it's my dominant side. I hope your pain goes away soon. Best of luck!
