Unhappy Do you have to wear a bra to bed forever!?!?

I was wondering about bras to bed after surgery. I saw someones post about being 6 months post op and having to wear a bra to sleep. It might be a silly question but do you have to wear one every night? and for how long???? im kinda stressing about this

Protecting our investment

I was instructed to wear a supportive bra as much as possible including to bed. Knowing what gravity already did to my 34C (no kids or significant weight loss), I chose to follow ps orders and it's so comfortable now I barely even notice. I rock a fruit of the loom underwire 7 days a week to bed.

My PS told me to do the opposite, he instructed me to go braless all the time! (unless working out) He told me he def. didnt want me to wear one to bed. I think everyones body is so different! My muscles are tight, so he wants the implant to drop.. where others need the support. You should prob. talk to your PS and see what he recommends for you. =)

I wear a bra every night to bed. I also wear a couple when I workout. My PS said to have the optimal results, I need to keep support on them as much as possible. Those of us who had lifts especially will need to do this.

My PS said I could sleep without a bra since 1 month post op, I have not done it every night just a few. To be honest I like sleeping in my sports bra better because of the support.

aaag is an unknown quantity at this point
I haven't had my ba yet, but all my life have worn a bra to bed. Esp made a point during my pregnancy/breastfeeding. Gravity is a terrible thing. Long term maintenance on ba boobs I would highly reccommend it.

Bra to bed

Hi i had my BA in february but i do have overs and my Dr said that i have to wear the compression bra to bed forever, and a good support bra by day. I actually have gotton use to sleeping in it and it really doesnt bother me anymore. I will do what my Dr advises because i want to keep the new girls looking good for as long as possible. I feel funny now if i go without a Bra, i call the compression bra my harness, i tell my boyfriend i have to go put my harness on lol.

I don't have to wear one when I sleep, but I've found that wearing a very light "leisure bra" to sleep helps avoid "morning boob", so I've starting doing so. It's not a support thing, so it may just be keeping them warmer (I'm a back sleeper and tend to throw off the covers while I sleep...).

I never wore a bra to bed, but now I am getting used to it. I am going to ask my PS at my next post op appt. I pray that I don't have to wear one. Its amazing that so many docs advise differently.
