Smile 6 Weeks Post Op.. I'm shocked at my size!

Hey ladies! I will officially be 6 weeks post-op next week. But I went to VS today. I'm so tired of wearing sports bras! Although it does feel good at times to get a break from underwire! So, I don't know if it's from dropping or if VS bras run smaller or different, but I'm wearing a 32DD! I bought two of the full coverage bras. (: They are having their semi-annual sale, so I couldn't help myself. The bras I bought are super comfortable, I love them! And you know I had to have the matching undies! LOL

The only thing I kind of regret in this whole process is not taking many photos of my progress. I don't guess it really matters though, I am unable to load them to JBI for whatever reason. It says there is some kind of error, and I need to contact administration. I've tried everything, I gave up. But they have definitely come along way. Dropping and softening for sure! I LOVE THEM. One of the best things I've ever done for myself, and they were worth every penny. I will admit the first week of recover, I wanted them OUT. They were so hard, tight, swollen, and uncomfortable - I thought it was the worst feeling ever! I felt as though I were suffocating from all the pressure on my chest. But it DOES get better, and I would do it all over again if I had to! How are all of the other May ladies?

Lol. We are about the same BA time and I also went to VS today. I got the same bra you did and I ordered some online. I fit nicely in the dd full coverage but the others were too small. So I order the pretty Demi's online in ddd. Also got the matching panties I'm doing great. I'm with you on th recovery. So glad that part is over. Glad to hear you are doing well and loving your girls.

Four weeks out and still a lot of upper pole swelling. Going to Maui on Thursday so I'm assuming I'm gonna look like a freak in my swimsuit. Ugh. Why do I still have so much swelling? Is it bc I was so small and went so big?

I am SO glad you posted this! I am at day 3 post-op and had the worst day yesterday! I am super bloated and was in a lot of pain yesterday too, so I was really depressed and questioning my decision to do this and wondering if I'd made a huge mistake. I'm so glad to hear I'm not alone in feeling that way, and that it will get better soon. I was a 32A before too, and got 400cc saline unders, so I wonder if I'll be a 32DD also? I was hoping for 32D, but I wouldn't complain if they were bigger, lol.

I noticed you mentioned having an "athletic" frame and I think if you are muscular its worse. I freaked out when I went back to worked one week post-op and swelled up horribly. Called my PS's office because I was scared. He saw me and said that its normal. Apparently I have large pec muscles and its a lot of the muscle doing the swelling. He also said I could be swollen for 4-6 weeks. :-(

Very exciting!! Amazing how much changes in six weeks. I am about the same and went to ps last week...he said I was able to go braless, no more strap and can finally buy new bras! I plan to hit VS tomorrow. Glad to hear you are happy with your results!

I have been icing the crap out of my breast. Although I was told not to by my PS, I could not stand the swelling anymore. I literally have been icing 20 minutes on 20 minutes off for about five days straight. I purchased the Cryo Max ice packs, which comes with straps and they stay cold for a long time. The icing helped tremendously.

Question Can't wait to hit VS!

I Was so excited to hear about everyone going to VS. I am two and a half weeks post op and can't wait to get out of these sports bras! PS says at my 4 week appointment, if everything looks ok, no more sports bras! He did say that he didn't want me in an underwire till 3 months. Has anyone tried the VS Knockout wireless bra?
I am not even sure of my true Pre-op size because I had very deflated, saggy breasts. I was hoping for at least a 34D. I had a full anchor lift with 371cc mod plus unders. I snuck into VS and bought a 34 D wireless bra. Not really sure how well it fits yet. The sales lady said it fit perfect. I am not nearly as swollen anymore but still need to drop. Once i had the bra on, they didnt look as big as I had hoped. Wondering if i should have gone bigger. I know they will change with time. Do they get bigger/look bigger after they drop?
