Hi- I am getting very worried. I am starting to get very firm and my implant is not really moving "up" anymore as I massage anymore. I can go "down" and "in" fairly okay, but I am just very concerned I may be getting c.c. My implants are unders, and they started very very high in my chest (at the collar bone) so they are down a lot, but when I massage I just don't have any more space to massage down, but in addition to that they are firming up so much that I'm also wondering if they are settlin' in (dropping) and I'm not going to get movement up because perhaps the top of my chest is healed/sealed. So, I think when I think about physics it makes me wonder if the implant is dropping and it's settling into that small space then it has to become firm before the muscle and tissue once again stretch out to accomadate the implant in its new spot. Could this be????????? I am so confused AND nervous that I am getting c.c. As you can see I'm trying to think positive and think that it's "dropping", but in all reality I can't help but think it's something wrong. Please can someone tell me if they experienced this very very firm (almost hardening) feeling and if they came to realization that it was the "dropping" happening and before the "fluff" started. Thanks so much and sorry |

If I understand you right, you're not able to push them down as much when you're massaging, right? That's how mine are now too, I can push them up more when massaging, just not as much down, I think it's just part of the dropping. If you're really concerned, contact your PS and ask them. Good luck!

It's kinda hard to say, but I am a little concerned when you say they are feeling more firm, not less. Mine felt very firm at first, but only got softer, never firmer. I do suggest you call your PS, describe what is going on, and tell him/her that you need to be seen. Hopefully, all is well. If not, the sooner you start treatment for cc, the better it may work. Don't let this slide. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, sweetie!! Slinky |

I agree with Slinky, although I am a little biast since I did indeed end up with CC in both breasts. Better to be safe than sorry, and you know your body better than anyone. My PS kept putting me off saying I needed to give it more time. I am a just a little bitter, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but at the same time I'd still want to see my PS if I were you. Good luck, I hope it isn't CC. Mesha |
