Att: Indigogal2- How Did You Do With DR Walden?

Hello indigogal2: Sorry to post to you publicly but, I didn't see where I could send you a private message. I was thinking of using Dr Walden. How did you make out with your surgery. I know you hate the bandeau but, how was the rest? Thanks!

Hey! Just found you! Overall, the experience was 100 times better than i expected. The whole process was so smooth...the hospital she works out of (Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat) is amazing. My mom is a nurse and she could not believe how organized, attentive, clean, and just classy the whole hospital was. I was admitted right away...given a couple valium to relax b/c i was clearly nervous! Then the anesth. came and spoke to me who was super nice... Dr. Walden came over before i went in and we talked about sizing again and at the last minute she suggested that i go a tiny bit bigger than i was thinking all along (339cc mod+ vs. 325cc mod+). She was clearly taking her time to re-think about exactly how i explained to her i wanted to look...and she was totally right, i think so far they fit my frame perfectly!
ANYWAY, as far as the pain...it was not that bad. I was doped up for the first 2 days post-op and then was pretty much on tylenol extra strength, and back to work after 5 days. And even with the pain meds i mostly just stuck to valium to help me sleep b/c that was the biggest discomfort. I only have one tiny bruise near the incision sit on one breast (i've heard of girls been completely bruised and swollen) Speaking of which, the frozen peas absolutely help!
I've been back to see Dr. Walden twice and will see her again next week just to keep checking on things. The compression bra is definitely not pleasant, but it has honestly already made them start to settle in a bit and I'm not even a week post-op.
SOOO, long story short...so far so good!! I'll be a little more excited once they "drop and fluff" as everyone on here likes to say. And I definitely recommend Dr. Walden....her and her whole staff are just nice and cool, and it's relaxing going there.

So happy to hear your reply. I was hoping you would see my post. Well it sounds like everything went pretty smoothly. I like to hear that Dr Walden really listened to what you wanted. So you went with the silicone and the crease??? What will the size turn out to be?

How many times after the breast augmentation do you need to go in and see the Dr? I live in New Jersey not too far away from New York City and I was just thinking of the commute.

I was a 34A/32A before and I'm hoping for a full C cup. I did try on some bras (probably prematurely) and i seem to be fitting a 32D, which was a little shocking at first but I think a 34C and 32D are pretty much the same size. And the 32D just fit me better...
And as far as visits, I saw her 3 days post op, then again the following week, then another week and 1/2 later I have an appt. So basically every week until she says when....which for me is great b/c I almost want to see her as much as possible b/c they are constantly changing so I always want her to check on things...
Did you have your consult with her yet?

No, I didn't have my consultation yet. I am planning on some time in April. I am interested in going to about the same size as you. I will keep you posted as I go along and please do the same with me! Post some photos when you can or email me!!!
