Smile Bruising

Hey beautiful ladies,
Did anyone have bruising that lingered for along time. I am 8 days post-op, pretty much pain free, but right breast is still darkly bruised. It doesn't seem to be lightening up much. I do bruise easily, and actually still bruised from the needle poke for my IV :-), but wanted to know how long others kept there bruises??

I'm not 100% on how long it took but mine was there I'd say at least two weeks, maybe more. It was nasty and purple for a while.

I had a bruise that looked so nasty and purple, but it has been 2 weeks and it's nearly gone. So within 2-3 weeks that should be gone.

I had some really ugly bruising, under my boobs, and in my cleavage. Purple and black - icky! I think it took about 2 weeks to go away. Never hurt, but I was pretty numb then. Didn't cause any problems either.

I had a small amount of bruising right after my surgery on the top portion of my boobs. PS told me to keep ice (frozen peas) on them pretty much all day long during my recovery. The bruises went away after roughly 5-6 days post-op.

I also bruised on my wrist where my IV was-- that little bruise lasted nearly
2 1/2 weeks!!

Cool Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info girls. I actually am seeing it starten to lighten up, or rather it is starting to turn yellow around the edges(yellow is a good color, as far as bruising goes, it means it is healing). Anyway, I think part of the problem is I have not been taking my Arnica as prescribed. I just find it to dang hard to go 30min without drinking anything(before and after). I think I am going to try and give it a bit more effort and see if the bruising starts to diminish a bit more rapidly.
