Fluff??

Sorry girls but can someone please explain to me what the "fluff" process is exactly? It sounds so hilarious to me I just couldn't bring myself to ask my ps what fluffing was......................
When does this process start to take place?

Once you drop, your muscles, skin and tissue will start to expand to accomodate the implant and some women find that as their muscles and skin expand, their breast size increases. I have started to drop, but I havent noticed any fluffing yet and dont know if I will since I got anatomical implants, so it all just depends on your body and what your doctor put in I think there may be a poll on the polls board about who fluffed and who didnt. Last time I checked, it was about 50/50.

It's good you didn't ask your PS because most surgeons do not use that term. It refers to the healing process where the breasts start to soften up. Your skin and muscles stretch and your breasts fill out at the bottom. The fluffing process can take up to one year.

So fluffling is also apart of the bottom filling out?? I do get confused about this still. My PS says I have dropped and now am waitting to "fill out" as he calls it. I am having a hard time waiting. I do get depressed about the way they look for now. I feel like they have that "football" look still. I really thought they would look different already. I would say 2/3 of my implant is still above my nipple. They are also really close together. My PS said they should separate a little. But I am still worried. I am also hoping that fluffling will make them project more. They still look flat to me from the side profile. Sorry to ask a queston in someone elses post, but I thought it was realated.

I noticed you got Mod's...that could be it too. Most women have high profiles so they will stick out more on top....is that what your wanting?

Yes I think I would be happier with high profiles. I too did not research it enough before hand. At my pre-op it was never mentioned as an option . After what I have been hearing, I am suprised it wasn't mentioned due to my small ribcage. Maybe my PS doesn't do them. Only time will tell my final result.

It might of been your PS not doing them, not all PS do HP. If all your PS does is mods than that's all you could have got from him. I'm looking at your avatar (that is you, right?) and you look amazing.

Yes that is me! Thank you. That was almost 2 weeks ago. They are still changing. I can definatley tell they have dropped some. I did see your pics, and I am still high like your 10day pics. 2/3 of my implant is above my nipple still. I am going to try and make a yahoo group today and add all my pics. When I do please let me know what you think.
