Smile How to fix rippling.

I have rippling under my left. I have silicone, unders and thin skin. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? It doesn't bother me right now as I can only feel it. I just hope it doesn't ripple in the cleavage area where you can see it. What do they do to fix rippling? thanks

I have rippling too. I have 400cc saline overs. So as for me I am getting HP profile (which is suppose to help less rippling),620cc(mid fill to help also) and unders. Supposely it should all help but you never know. I have thin skin too! But since you have silicone which is suppose to help too im not too sure. If you gets bad you may need a redo BUT I wouldn't know to what. Sorry im no help but wanted to share my sympathy! There are a lot of girls that had rippling that went away after a few months. Hopefully that's your case. How long have you had your breast augmentation?

since you have silicone, i find that a little odd but maybe b/c you have really thin skin and is maybe the implant really big?

sometimes it happens with thin skin, little breast tissue, and just having very large implants in a more slender or petite body.

Since you already have silicone unders, all you can really do to fix the rippling is to gain weight. I know thats not always practical but thats the only thing that will really help at this point.

I have some rippling on the underneath/side by my armpits, with silicone unders. He said that even with full unders, there isn't muscle tissue to that side, so that can happen. I really hope it goes away. What makes them ripple like that? How depressing.

I thought you couldn't get rippling with silicone unders
But now I see you can always get it, I guess its just that the possibilities are less when you get silicone unders.

Yeah, I have some rippling too, and I have silicone unders. Mine is visible on the side boob area when I bend over, and also when I lift my arms up above my head I can see the "wrinkles" of my implant bags on the undersides of my boobs. I didn't have much breast tissue to begin with and I'm petite. I guess there's no way to avoid it, even with silicone unders.

The chances of rippling is less with silicone, but you can still have rippling with it.

Ivy is right because my ps did tell me that losing weight can cause rippling (this was my first breast augmentation when we were discussing the various complications, causes and cures)
I had some very slight rippling this breast augmentation (silicone/overs) but it went away.
I hope yours does too. I know alot of people think you CANT have rippling with silicone, and you CANT have rippling with unders, but truth is... its possible no matter what. As far as I know, if you have "overs" and rippling you can switch to under, or if you have saline you can switch to silicone which has LESS chance of rippling, but otherwise there is no treatment really, except gaining some weight, and giving it some time.
Hope yours resolves itself!

Thanks. That makes sense. I have thin skin and I'm kind of small 5'3" 114. I've actually lost over 5lbs since my breast augmentation. I had pneumonia and I have been on Medrol twice (2nd time for hives), for some reason I don't feel hungry at all when I take it. It's only on the bottom of my right, I just hope it doesn't get worse (like in the cleavage area).

It will likely NOT get any worse. Try to maybe put those 5 pounds back on and see if that helps? I know alot of people that actually drink the slim fast (diet) shakes and carnation stuff, but instead of doing it and skipping a meal, they use that while eating normal meals and have gained weight. I would bet that would do it for you...(gain weight - no ripples I mean)

A little late on the reply, but thought I would reply anyways. I have HP silicone unders with 300cc's (so not a large implant) and I have rippling on the bottom and sides that is palpable. It's only visible on the sides when I bend over. I know that mine is due to the fact that I am quite thin (on the upper half of my body), have thin tissue and only started out with a 32a.

I bet if you gain that five pounds back, it will help. I think I'd need to gain 10 or so because most of it will go to my hips and butt, but I'm going to try.

rippling

Hi I am 2weeks post op and have a very sore left boobie and its rippling, all down the cleavage and underneath. This is my 3rd b/a I had one about 14 years ago with no problems. Then I had another one in Febuary this year but had to have a re-do as I came out the same size! (exactly) so I have just had it done again and great size but got this pain in leftie and rippling.
I have just emailed my surgern and was just wondering what the outcome is for some of you that have had it, do you have to have a re-do?
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks girls x

My first two breast augmentation's I had no rippling at all...my last one I have it on the side but only when I bend forward with arms straight out. I also notice a slight indentation in the cleavage area on my left but it is really not noticeable unless I'm in certain light and a certain angle...weird. I was told that fat injections can smooth out ripples to some degree.

Yes, you must gain weight. I have rippling as well, mine are overs but my PS said putting them under would not really help the situation a whole bunch. I am very thin so I am all for the weight gain. The only other option are fat injections and alloderm.

Hi I have had three ops. The first was a breast augmentation. the second a Capsullory to fix ripples. the third fat injections to fix ripples. My ripples are still there! I have high profile mentor silicone implants under the muscle. 390 cc. I have tried my best to put on weight but it all goes to the hips and nothing to my breasts. What other options do I have?

I am a model so having visble rippling in the cleavage area are unacceptable.
Would going on the pill help? Alloderm? What does that invovle? is it better than fat injections?

These ripples depress me so I will do anything to fix them up!

Maybe downsize or go to a mod+ or mod profile if nothing else is working, good luck
