![]() | Boobs and Cold Weather
Here comes another silly question from Brigit, who seems to be having a lot of difficulty adjusting to the beautiful new additions! I live in California, in an area where 34 degrees is absolutely unheard of, but for the past few days it's been positively FREEZING Anyone else in colder climates notice something similar? |

Hey Brigit, I'm in the north east and it's cold here too. Yes I know what you are talking about, I was wondering the same. It's like when I shiver my pecs tighten up and pull up my implant, it feels weird but I think it's maybe cause we are so early post op. It seems like it's pretty normal as long as it doesn't hurt. |

I dont know. Its about 20 here right now, and I have not felt any wierd tightness. The only thing I can think of is that your muscles and skin tend to tighten a bit when your cold and that might be a reason? If it starts to feel too unnatural its always a good idea to just call the PS. Good Luck! |

Hey Brooklyn - shouldn't you be planning a wedding or something ??I was wondering how you were doing earlier today, what with the wedding coming up so soon. Best of luck on that, I hope all is as beautiful as you have envisioned. BTW, and I hope this isn't too personal of a Q, but are you LDS and if so, is it a temple wedding?? | |

I know exactly what you are talking about. It has been over a year since I had mine done & if I get really cold, they still do it. Not as much as before, but it has not completely ended. |

I've been getting that too......I'm at the stage right now too where my nipples are really sore...and it hurts even more when they get cold and hard :S But I did notice right away the first time I got a chill that my boobs seemed to be trying to run away from the cold (they tightened right up) I just figured it's a normal thing....I have unders, so if the muscle gets cold and retracts, it only makes sense that it's gonna pull the implant in with it right? I hope it gets a little better though.....I'm in northern Ontario, so it gets pretty cold around here for at least a couple months out of the year. Maybe I'll just get a bigger scarf lol.

I think that I have had the same thing happen to me too. I think it is just your nerves started to regenerate feeling or something. I have also noticed that I have looked down when it is not cold and have had completley rock hard nipples!!! How embarrassing. It is because I haven't gotten all of my feeling back yet so it is hard to tell when that happens ![]() I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless it is really bothering you. Then you might want to call your ps and double check. |

I'm in Cali, and work in the snow sometimes. plus when I ride my motorcycle to work the temp can be down in the teens. I've yet to experience what you discribed. But I have read from other girls that have. So I really wouldn't worry about it.

I get that feeling because my pecs tighten up when I shiver. I'm 4.5 months post op and it's still a funny feeling for me. I sometimes think it'll never go away!

Yup! I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer in MD. I keep a the heater in my office on all the time and my house has to be at least 78 degrees for me to feel comfortable. Otherwise my boobies tend to tighten up. I try not to hang out too long near the supermarket freezer section either..lol
