Morning pain

I am 10 days post op and I wanted to know if anyone else experienced worse pain in the morning. I am still sleeping in a chair but when I wake up it is really painful and difficult to get up. I did not know how long to expect this to last.
Thanks
Kristi

I think what you got is morning boob. Its something to do with your implant sitting in one position for a long time and then moving into another position when you get up, someone else will probably explain it better then me lol.
I know what you mean though, its not pleasant is it.

Fashionknockout will become famous soon enough
Hi kristi,
yes it sounds like you have morning boob.
I had it from the start and it hurt so much to get up in the morning,
but I noticed that everyday that passes it gets a little better.
I am now a little over 3 weeks post-op and when I woke up today it was very minimal.
You will also notice with time that when you start to move around after you get out of bed and do things, they will soften up and feel better.
Your arms moving around acts like a little massage and it's helps them feel less hard.
Also remember that everyone is different so you might have it for a shorter amount of time or maybe longer, but do know that it goes away.
Good luck I hope it goes away for you soon!!!

Not to worry, it's morning boob. Mine lasted a month or so. I got so tired of holding them up to sit up! It won't last forever, though.

Ditto on the other replies re: morning boob. I had it pretty bad the first couple of weeks but it gradually faded away. I'm 4 weeks post-op and only feel a hint of it now when I first sit up in bed.

Sorry to hear that you are still in pain. Your breast usually feels stiffer in the morning so that might account for the discomfort. Once you start moving around a little they should start to feel better.
