I had my breast augmentation 1 month ago and my insision is still very tender. It's not hot or ozzing, so I'm not worried about infection, but it's tender!! i have full range of movement back and am very much back to a normal life, but I'm wondering if something is wrong. I go see my ps tomarrow, and want to make sure I ask the right ?'s THANKS LADIES!! |

I have a similar problem. The incision under my left breast, which is higher and much more swollen than the right one, was sore and burning a little. I realized that there was a suture poking through the skin. I had my husband pull on it and we realized it was a big knot right under the skin. He cut the knot out, which gave me some relief, but that knot was keeping the skin from healing correctly and I ended up with a very small hole, not deep though. I don't think it's infected, but it is swollen and red. I did a warm wet compress on it a couple of times today with a lot of relief to the site, so you may want to try that. Afterwards, I covered it loosely with a sterile gauze pad and some neosporin, and it feels soooo much better now. Once the inflammation goes down, I'll start using the silicone strips again on the scar. I hope you get some relief too!

Hi Sarah, I am 6 weeks post op and up until this week I was still feeling quite tender in my right breast (the nipple was super sensitive too). I was freaking out about having an infection/rupture/everything else under the sun, but suddenly it just started feeling alot better. You will probably just turn a corner and be feeling great in a few weeks. Take care xx |

I am 7 weeks po and my crease incisions feel okay but I still can not wear an underwire bra because of them. I also have a tiny bump at the end of one of my incisions. I think it is a stitch as well. I go to my ps on Monday so I will see what she says. Good luck! |
