![]() | 6 month post op and redo consult today...
I had my 6 month post op today and a redo consult...The reason for my redo is because I feel my boobies are too close together and too wide for me...I spoke to the doctor and told him that I think they are too close together because when I push down in my cleavage area there is "space"...He agreed and said that shouldn't be there so he will switch it out with HP's...his quote was $1400...what do you think? I know it was supposed to be free but for me to switch to HP's I need to pay that much more (he charges more for HP's, don't know why though...)....He also said that I could just go under local because he would just be switching out the implants BUT I thought that he would have to adjust the pockets??? Or does he not need to because I am gaining about the same in projection that I am losing in diameter?? Hmm... So anyways my end result will be ideal if 1. I have about a finger space between that lays flat 2. less side boob 3. more projection 4. the most naturalist "looking" that it can be considering I have what I consider big implants for my size 5. I don't want to be bigger, I think...lol...most times So I am wavering between two sizes HP 420 f/u 490 cc about 11.8 cm dia 6.6 cm proj HP 460 f/u 540 cc about 12.2 cm dia 6.8 cm proj Right now I have MODS 425 f/u 475 cc 14.2 cm dia 4.1 cm proj I think I am leaning more towards the 490cc mostly because I'm scared the 540 cc will be too big, that's a 75 cc difference from what I have now..yikes!!! I have to take into account that I am short(not skinny though) so it'll take less cc's to "fill me up", so to speak...Right now I am 35-27-35 so I will end up a little bigger up top ![]() ![]() What do you all think should I go with the 490 or 540???

hey girl 1400 is not so bad but I do wonder why your ps charges more for hp? I think you should go with the 550 size since you are switching out mine as well go a little bigger hehe When are you doing it?

I don't know why he charges more for HP's....so the 1400 is actually broken down like this: $800 (price difference between the mods and HP's) $300 OR fee $300 Local anesthesia + tax... you don't think the 540's will be too big??? I am 4'9" and am already wearing 32dd's with 475...yikes!!!! I just don't want to be boobies with feet...lol!!!! Not too sure when yet...gotta figure out the kid's school schedule and stuff...the sooner the better though...before my DH changes his mind..lol...Thanks for responding....Not too sure if you posted this but what happened with your refund? Did you call any doctor's for consults yet?

Hey mamaof4 - Can you believe we've past the 6 month mark??? Time flies, huh?!! I think you're right - it sounds like you would need some pocket work if you are choosing an implant with a smaller diameter, but perhaps that's not true. The 540s aren't *that much* bigger than the 490s....just a couple of mm in width and projection. But, if you a pretty happy with your current size, then maybe 490 is the way to go. That's still a pretty decent sized implant! I think I might ask about the pocket work, just to be sure. Are you nervous about going under with just local? A couple ladies here have had that done and were just fine. I bet you're getting excited!!

I know!!!! 6 months really flew by quickly I guess I'm not really nervous about going under with just local because I don't really know what that means...duh me....does that mean I won't be asleep? I am pretty happy with my bra size right now but that dreaded boobie greed monster is just making me wonder if I should, you know? You are looking great by the way...congrats on your 6 month mark!!!!Quote:
