Bloated

(I'm 2 days post op) Is it just me or is anyone else totally bloated after their surgery... I look like I've put on about 10 pounds in my stomach... and I'm constantly thirsty so I don't know if it's just water weight or what. I don't normally get bloated with PMS or anything so this is new to me.... It's funny because I have to have my mom/sister/friend help me button my jeans because I'm too sore/fat to do it myself!

Blah, this is really the only post op complaint I have though so I guess I'm pretty lucky.

it's normal to be really bloated.
It will unfortantely last 2 weeks or longer.
Mine lasted about a moooonth...ugh.
Just continue drinking the water, and start walking when you can for exercise, it will help.

the bloating is super normal... it comes from the IVs, anesthesia, and all the meds (and sometimes from the pain meds constipating you- know gross but true!)... i looked 3 months pregnant (no exaggeration) for the first few days... i felt like i got new boobs and a man gut... it was college frat boy bad... mine has almost gone down but still not all the way... read it takes around 2 weeks but could be shorter/longer depending on the person

1st breast augmentation: it last 2 weeks.
2nd breast augmentation: It last a few days. But I ate Activia Yogurt everyday after surgery to get things started and drank lots of water!

It totally freaked me out! In the morning I usually have a FLAT tummy. The morning after surgery, I looked in the mirror and I couldn't suck my tummy in for anything. My chest hurt, I was all bandaged up, scared of what I had done. I just started crying. I am also 10 dyas out and it is all gone!

It is a combination of the bloat from the stuff from surgery and being a little stopped up inside! IT is a scary feeling, but it goes away!

And it doesn't help that it is the holiday season and having all this yummy food around...I told my hubby that I should have had him do my tummy while I was out for my boobs..

I gained 13 pounds from the surgery. I weigh myself daily. When I got home and weighed myself I was 13 heavier. I freeked out!! It took a week to go away I looked prego and could not where jeans or slacks. I had to resort to jogging and gym pants. I thought I would never go down.

I drank lots of water to help flush my system, and paced around the house alot. I was back to normal by the 8th day.

Hang in there.
