What to expect 1 week post Op??

Im just wondering what Im supposed to be feeling at almost one week? Im still really tight and sore, although the pain isnt bad enough to be on any meds. I guess Im starting to look a little better, but Im getting depressed laying around doing nothing. I can do a little cleaning around the house but I get tired really easily. Just wondering if Im normal and how long before others were out doing stuff I need a pep talk!!

BTW, I noticed some people out shopping a wearing a regular bra on day 9! I cant imagine, my boobs are waaayy to hard for a normal bra and I cant believe that will change that much in 4 days?

I still feel some pressure occasionally, mostly in the morning or just after massage. Is started to feel more normal after about day 12, really better at day 21. I'm still not wearing a regular bra for the most part. I did go try some on Day 21 but didn't buy yet.

Ok, I am a little over one month post op and bras are just BARELY starting to look decent on me but I can't wear them until I see my PS on St. Patty's day! I hated bras and my molded boobs the first couple of weeks. They are much, much better now and boobs are starting to look good in the bras but they still have a ways to go. Patience. I keep telling myself that...

You will have a lot of pressure and a lot of tightness for quite some time!!!!!!! Be patient ladies!!!

The pressure started noticably easing at about the 5 week mark, you will start noticing dramatic changes then.

I was wearing a normal bra at week 4-5 and an underwire at week 6.. it is very exciting!!

Be patient, you have a lot of exciting changes to come!!

Give it two more days and you'll feel great! I was in your spot about this time last week. I am finally feeling 100% better. Just tight and a little tender at my incision site. I cant wait for my appt Wednesday so they can take off these steri strips!

Went to my 7 day post op today and wore a regular bra with underwire. My PS told me right after surgery that as long as it supports you, you can wear them. All they did today was trim the edge of my stitches, and told me how to massage...told me I didn't need the push down strap garment because mine were dropping fine... I was in and out in 30 minutes..I love wearing a nice bra instead of the one they put on me before I left.

At one week post op I....helped my mother in law clean my house (and we did a lot!), made dinner, got dressed, did my hair/make up, and went to a movie (at 10pm, even after a busy busy day). I felt no pressure, only felt tight when I moved my arms a certain way, and had a great sleep that night. Honestly, it was amazing how much better I felt after about day 4/5. And then each day felt that much better. Of course, every girl is different, but I felt great!

For me 1 week i started feeling worse. Maybe was because i wasnt taken the painkillers, not sure. I didnt start feeling normal again until the 6wk mark. Before that i was so sore and had this constant feeling of two hard rocks rolling around under my chest and had alot of tightness. Massaging helped some but think it is a waiting game. Everyone has their own pace in which they heal.
