omg i think im obsessed....

im 2weeks post-op, but still, all i can think about is my boobs. im obsessing over them, constantly panicking that somethings going wrong with them, and im so scared in case something does go wrong!i just can stop thinking about it. my surgeon never said anything about massaging them(although they r textured ones so maybe thats why?), or wearing a strap, only said to wear a sports bra. im just so scared, and iv thought to myself.........what have i done!

Oh no. I hope you feel better. I know what helps me whenever I feel that there is something wrong is that I ask questions and read posts on this forum. I am sure you are doing all the right things. Also, I think it is normal to feel a bit sad at first. I am sure they are fine.

you should probably go outside and get some fresh air. you're stressing yourself unneccessarily which could actually affect your healing process. give your mind and body a break and go rest somewhere quietly.

don't worry about it girl, i am in the same boat as you are! i think its normal for us to feel like this. we just spent A LOT OF $$$$ and changed our physical appearance, of course we are gonna go through all kinds of emotions. Last night, I was getting that booby greed, thinking, what if i went to small??? and i told my sister this morning: i think my boobs are too small!!!! they are shrinking aren't they??? and she says: what are you talking about they look the same and they are still big!
but yeah talking to her helped me out, she reminded me, that i wanted the natural look. which is what i did achieve.

just be patient, and i'm reminding myself before i remind you LOL

I know what you mean!! But stressing about things right now is pointless... it's going to take some time for things to settle and for the pain and swelling and all that stuff go away so you can really tell what you are going to have. I know it's easier said than done, but you probably should try to think about other things... If you are still stuck at home, rent some good funny movies; have some girlfriends over for some regular girl talk.
I agree that coming on here and reading what everyone else is talking about and going through helps too...you aren't alone.

I went throught the same emotions, constantly worrying about EVERYTHING that could possibly go wrong. Just relax and take it day by day. Different surgeons have different methods and philosophies; mine told me to massage but my friend's said it was unnecessary.

Thankyou so much for your replies........its nice to know im not the only one to feel like this! i think i read the complications part of the website a bit too much really lol.
yeah im pretty much stuck at home all week apart from going over ym boyfriends at weekends. i live in a village in the middle of nowhere so there are no film rental places around here, and only 1 of my friends live near here now lol, although iv been getting mum to take me up there more or less every day to keep me busy. good job im waiting for my car to pass its m.o.t, otherwise id be very tempted to drive!
Anyway, went off on a random rant there lol...yeah i think i should go for a nice walk somewhere and just try and chill out a bit

patience is a virtue.......x

I was the same way.. and all for nothing... I promise you, its not half as bad as we think! I was constantly worrying, " Do I have CC?", "Is this supposed to feel like that?" "Why do they look like that?" Dont stress yourself, honey! If you think all these things, you are just going to worry yourself unnecessarily... and thats not good for you! Make sure that you talk to your PS about your concerns.. thats what he is there for! He should be able to help you with any issues/concerns/questions you have. As for your post operative healing instructions... follow what your PS suggests... Some use massaging, others dont.. same goes with a strap, PO bra, etc. Each one is different and you should trust your PS's healing/aftercare regimine.
Dont be upset and sad! Be happy! You will have some fabulous boobies when its all done and you'll wonder why on earth you panicked!

Talking

Best cheer up tactic and way to pass the time? Play dress up! All those old dresses and tops I couldn't fill without a padded push-up bra now look fantastic! Warning: it's highly addictive but a great way to remind you how fabulous you feel with your new investment.

Awwe don't stress girl...it's gonna be okay, i know it's scary because we altered out bodies and now we have to wait for it to heal and look normal again.....just relax, breathe, give yourself time it'll get better....think of all the girls who probably felt and are feeling the same way. your not alone and before you know it your boobies will be all beautiful and you'll be like damn i love em
