How long After a breast augmentation would you say is safe to do Sit Ups ect?? Im 2 Weeks Post op nd totallly in need of some excersize...Ive walked quite abit these past few days but defo feel the need to do something else!! Does any1 know how long it is before you can start doing excersize??

At 3 weeks I'm allowed to do any excercise that does not use my arms, chest or shoulders. At two weeks you SHOULD be OK for cardio (pleeeeeeeease check with your PS tho), but even then I'd say stay away from high impact excercise like running. I'll be starting on a bit of stationary bike and stepper next week for cardio and other than that will mostly be doing lower body. I'm going to be taking it easy on the sit-ups for now because my incisions still hurt a bit when I tighten my tummy muscles. As I said, please confirm with your PS. He/she is the only person that can give you any real answers on safety. |
