![]() | too late to wear the strap?
I'm 5 weeks post op and my left breast is still high. PS says to massage aggressively on that side. I'm thinking about calling and asking about getting the strap to help push it down. At 5 weeks is it too late to start using the strap?

Where did you order it from? Did you ask your PS about it?

my ps gave me mine (why doesn't yours give you yours for free??) at my 4 week appointment because the right side isn't falling. i've been wearing it every day all day except to shower and exercise (i don't feel like washing it every day since I run every day LOL) and it seems to be helping, i'm 6 weeks post op now. i'm to wear it until my 2 month appointment at the end of july and if it hasn't fallen enough we're going back into surgery to pull it down UGH. fingers crossed!

Good luck. I'm almost 2 weeks out and got given the strap yesterday. I'll be wearing it religiously. Do NOT want to go back into surgery. Quote:

![]() | Only one side is high tight and square shape
Hi all~ I am 3 weeks post op and have been a nervous wreck! My left side is dropping but my right side is high and square to the armpit causing a lot of pressure. My ps says to be patient but I am so discouraged waking up everyday seeing no improvement. I have a strap from a prior surgery but am wondering if I wear it can it lower the side that is already dropping too much? I need it for the right breast. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I called PS yesterday and got a strap. I really hope this helps....I don't want to go back to surgery either!!!!!!!!!!!!! The nurse showed me how to put it on. I hope I'm doing it right and have it tight enough.

I got it at almost 2 weeks. I had spoken to the office and mentioned they were a bit uneven, so they had me come in so they could have a look. Apparently they were both still a bit high. They put the strap on me then. |

Hahaha, me too. I keep worrying maybe it's not tight enough or maybe it's sitting too high or too low or pressing where it shouldn't be or maybe it's pressing my boobs IN instead of down........ I drive myself crazy sometimes ![]() |

I got my strap the day after my surgery. I had to wear it for two weeks and that was it. I see her again next Tuesday to make sure everything is alright and I am going to start scar therapy.

I got my strap at 5days postop and went back at 13days and said I didn't have to wear it anymore and gave me another sports bra with a zipper and its very fancy told me to start massaging especially my left since its filled more than the other. When I first wore the strap it really hurt but as each day goes by it got better. It must've worked and he told me to always wear this sports bra just in case they start dropping more? I'll just follow my PS instructions. I also love how he's such a perfectionist making sure my nipples were even and asking if I was happy. I love my PS!

I had my breast augmentation yesterday. I woke up after surgery in my post-op bra and a strap. My post-op is tomorrow and I am going to ask my doc how long I need to wear it.

I just started wearing one today. when I put the strap on my double bubble problem is gone, but there is so much pressure on my incisions that I fear the implant is gonna pop out!! its not tight or anything . I never had any pain near my incisions, but I think its because my implants where sitting on my old crease instead of me new ones. any one else feel pressure on the crease from wearing the strap? |
