uneven breast... scared.

I am two days from being a month post op and my left one looks much bigger than my right one. Is this normal? Will they even out? My scar (I had crease incision) on my right breast is on the bottom of my breast but my scar on my left breast is about a half an inch above my crease. Should I get use to this or will it change?

Its very common for them to heal at different rates. Two completely separate surgeries, you know. It sounds like your right just hasn't caught up with your left. Could be your PS had to do more work on that side. Could be your muscle is holding tighter on that side. Usually, the crease incision scar is a little bit up on the breast, not right in the crease. That way, it's hidden better when you wear a bikini. So it will probably move up on your right side, too, as that side settles. One month is still very early post-op. Give yourself more time.

You are so early and yes it is normal. I am 3 1/2 months post op and my right is still higher han my left, it has been all along. It is getting better but I am still going to give it time, My pS told me at 3 months to give it more time and to massage it twice a day whereas I do my left only once now. He also said that my breast were a little uneven before my breast augmentation, so that could be why. You have so many changes to go through and they will only get better! Just be patient, I know it is hard!

Suprmama will become famous soon enough
I have one that is slightly higher than the other - still at almost 3 years post op. When I look back at my pre-op pics I see that one crease was slightly higher than the other - not something I noticed on my AA breasts! With the 400 cc in there it amplifies the difference in crease height a bit - but with a bra on it's pretty much taken care of. I wouldn't go back in to have it fixed since I am happy to have no other complications like cc, infection, etc etc. I would hate to mess up a good thing for a centemeter or so.

omg Im one day away from being one month post op and my lefty is bigger than righty too! They both feel similiar in softness (though still firm at times) but i dont know where the implant is hiding under my right breast?!?! U can only compress an implant so much before it doesnt compress anymore. When i try to guess where my original boob would end and my implant start on the breasts i have now... Theres alot of implant missing.. I hope that makes sense lol I hope i even out sometime soon too! DESPERATELY wanting a fluff soon >.<

Mine are super different still, right is definitely higher. I think I have read every posting on this issue here! The consensus is to be patient, they can take up to a year to get into their final position. It is so hard, we want immediate gratification, but our bodies have a mind of their own when it comes to healing. So hang in there!

So happy to read that many people are in the same boat as me! One of my creases is a little bit lower and at first I was mad...then I looked at old pictures of my A breast and was like "OH they were like that then" but I never really paid any attention to them - Now I'm sure we all stare incessently at them to see changes.

My lefty is still harder/higher than the right at 5 weeks post-op...let's just keep massaging!

patience is key! I was freaking out about 3 months post op because the left had dropped significantly and I thought it was bottoming out. But everything is good now and they are evening out and there is not bottoming out! It was very scary there for a little while!

My suggestion is to have patience and to wait unfortunately.. you are too early. give it some time and see what happens. I don't know what u look like but give it at least 2-3 months and see what happens then if it gets worse then personally i would be a little concerned.

You beat me to it.

Last night I decided that it was time to take some after pics. This was all good until I put on my old bikini and realized that I am visibly lopsided. I had not noticed it before. It calms me some to hear that lots of you are dealing with this. This site has been great in answering questions, some even before I knew they were questions.

I am 5 weeks post op and am self-conscious about wearing low cut tops because you can see that my right is ALOT more swollen on top than the left one although the bottom of my right one is smaller than the left. I am thinking it is because the muscle still needs to relax on the right side and let it "drop" a bit...I hope!

I know it's so frustrating eh!! I'm also at 5 weeks today! And it is my right one too...up higher and a bit smaller and a bit harder then the left. So yeah, I can't really wear revealing tops because I can totally notice the difference. I think it's getting a bit better, but still. It would be nice to come out perfect! I know...patience... arrrggh. Although I did see my pic at the ps office on my last appt and my right was a bit higher and smaller to begin with. Weird that we don't notice this before...guess we spend all this money and we want to be perfect! Good luck to us all that they drop soon!!

Angelika is an unknown quantity at this point
Me Too, Me Too, Me Too

We need to start a lopsided boob club! I posted about this too. My right is higher, tighter smaller 1 month PO. It is softenening up a teeny bit but I just don't know how it wil turn out. I see my PS Friday and will ask A LOT of questions. I have the "slant" too and no side fullness on that one. Grrrr

YES!!! Me too! My lefty is high and tight and my righty is low, round, with a little rippling . My left was always bigger so this worried me. I have my 2 and 1/2 week post-op tomorrow and have millions of questions about this. I even told my hubby to put a level on my boobs to see if they were even, but he just told me I was crazy and they looked great.

i bet your breasts are just healing at different rates... i hear this is very common. One of them probably has not dropped as much as the other! Don't stress about it, i"m sure it will be fine! and if its really freaking you out, give your PS a call and have him check it out!

I hear that from sleeping on your side, the breast you lay on can take longer to heal or even just end up smaller. It may be true because I sleep on my right side and recently tried sleeping on my left side and noticed my right breast has become softer since I switched sides 3 days ago.

BTW, I don't feel so alone anymore from all the posts. The night that I posted this thread I spent an hour looking in the mirror and I cried myself to sleep. Today I feel normal, even if I don't like what I see, I know they still need to heal. Thank you all for replying and helping me out. It means a lot.

I know what you mean. My left seems to look fuller then my right. It seems like its more noticeable now then it was at first. I see some people talking about a surgical drop... how do you know if that's what you need?

My left boob is smaller than my right boob. I'm not sure if it was always smaller or if it's just the different healing rates??? I hope they even out soon, this is driving me crazy.
