What did you use on your scars?

My PS had me tape my scars for 3 months. Now I'm looking for a product to use to help them fade. Any recommendations? I tried mederma, but I think I'm allergic to it. After a day and a half I got a rash and they were so itchy! I quit using it and it went away. I may try again to make sure that's what it is. I'd love any recommendations though. My PS said I could use whatever I wanted. Did anything work for you?

Bio oil is a gret product. You can pick it up at walmart

My PS has his patients use Aquaphor(a medical grade petroleum jelly). My incisions healed up nicely the first time around and are looking very good this time, as well.

bio-oil, also my ps said that scarguard has the best research behind it versus mederma.... i'm using nothing on my scars but silicone sheets with research shows is the best way to treat and flatten out the scars.... ps. i am very scar prone and so i had both my dermatologist and my ps work together regarding my scars.
