How soon for 1st post-op?

Hey, my breast augmentation is in 2 more weeks. How soon after your surgery do you go back to see the ps? I'm wondering how long it is until you can actually SEE your new boobs (not all wrapped up). Just curious, mostly because I can see myself getting anxious and worrying for days before I get to see what my boobs look like. Is your post-op the next day or like a week later??

My post op is scheduled for the day after my breast augmentation. My PS plans on removing the wrap and putting me in a lovely compression sports bra to wear for several weeks .

Every PS is different. I had to wear a strap/compression bra and had drains for 6 days. THEN I finally got to see them. I would just ask your PS as you will most likely book your follow-up before your surgery.

For me it was the very next day - then one week for stitch removal. After that, once a week for the first month.

He's giving me dissolvable stitches which is pretty cool. He didn't schedule anything with me yet for post-op. I'm guessing maybe after surgery he'll tell me when to go back and see him. 15 more days! I get more and more scared each day...

I think all PS are different I went back one week post op and was checked on and learned massage and then I go back at 3 week post op and get my stitches out.

All PS are different. My PS sees all his patients at 1 day post-op and he does the unveiling then. He then sees them at 1 week post-op (removes stitches), then 1 month post-op. After that, it's by individual case. Sometimes he releases you at that point, but if you still have issues, he will see you again.

I saw my PS the very next day. It depends on the surgeon as well. It could be a day or days. You should ask.

I went for a post-op the day after my surgery, then back at 1 week post op, then at 1 month post-op. I got to see my girls at my 1 day post op appoinment. Good luck!! :-)

I had saw my ps the next day after getting my breast augmentation. then another post op appt a week after that.

My surgery was on a wed, and he took my wraps off on friday. I then had a 1wk post op the next wed, and 2wks the following wed. hth!

I have dissolving stitches too. My PS saw me 24 hours after to remove the wrap and fit me into my sports bra. I went in at about 2 weeks to make sure things were healing the way they should. My next appointment is at 6 weeks. At my 24 hour appointment they showed me how to do the massage and told me to do it for 5 to 10 minutes 2 or 3 times a day.

I was not all wrapped up...just PO bra. I could have looked but felt really bad and just went home and passed out. I went back to see my PS the next day who peeped my boobies to make sure all was well. I looked at them then. I went back a week later to learn my boobercises and go back a month from that time.

I will see my DR 6 days post op. I assume he will teach me how to massage these "rocks" then. I cant imagine these every getting soft and pliable with how hard/firm they are right now.

I saw my PS a week post op. I got to see them for the first time that day too. I was wrapped up all weird for the first week and was not allowed to take it off. I practically ripped it all off once I was allowed to though and cried when I saw how beautiful my new boobies were

I also got my stitches out that day. I'm scheduled for my one month post op but that will only be my 2nd post op visit

Next day for me. I never had bandages though. Then one week, two week, one month, etc. I love seeing mine cause I always come up with new questions or worries by the next visit.

My first post op was the day after the surgery.... then go back next Tuesday, which will be 1 week to get my sutures and everything removed. I got to see my girls as soon as i woke up, because they didnt have the surgical bra on them yet... i don't really remember how they looked though, i was pretty out of it! By day 2 i felt good enough for my bf to help me undo the surgical bra so he could take a few pics, and then today, day 3, i could do it myself, and even tried on a few other tops.

I had my first post op the very next day after surgery....and I wasn't wrapped up...I was sent home in a front close surgical bra (like a front close sports bra) for compression...so I was able to see my boobs after I woke up out of anastesia (sp?) when I was home..(same day of surgery).bc i kept falling back asleep...

after that I went to my PS a week later..then...a month...then a couple months.....then a few more months..then a year post op....and i've gone in whenever i had questions...but each PS is different with their post op visits and how they send you home (wrapped or not).

I was sent home in a sports bra that was provided by my PS. I was instructed to go home sleep 2 hours get up take a hot shower and go out to eat lol. I had my augmentation last Thursday and had my post op Today! So I was able to see my new girls the same night and watch them change each night

! Its amazing how differnt each PS does things!
