![]() | inframammary fold lower on one side
Hi! I'm excited to be posting my first post... had breast augmentation done 4 days ago. I was super small to begin with (32AA) and didn't actually have an inframammary crease, so it had to be created. Now with my new boobs the new crease is lower on my left side--it's lower in relation to the ground, but also the distance between it and my nipple is larger on the left than on the right (right nipple was lower to begin with and is still lower now). Has anyone had this and is it permanent or does it fix itself? I'm worried because I wonder if the compression bra (which was put on unevenly such that it rode higher on the right) forced the right pocket to heal higher than the left. I've since adjusted the bra, but it was on uneven for the first three days (and led to bruising at the base of the right boob but not the left). Thank you for any help! I'm worried because my PS is on vacation and I'm wondering if this is something that needs to be fixed in the next few days before the pocket heals completely? (The healing has been really fast and I'm doing pretty much all former activities aside from exercising.) Thanks again! |

i'm in the same boat as you. i was only a 30AA and had to have my crease created too. i think my ps placed my right crease slightly lower than my right one. but the thing is my right boob has always been a little lower, so i guess i'm okay with it. at first i was spazzing out and getting all paranoid too but now that i'm use to it, i almost don't see it anymore. you're also only 4 days out so you need to give it lots more time girly. i'm almost a month out and i'm way happier with my boobs then when i was 4 days post op. trust me, i think if you ask anyone on this forum they'll tell you how much of a cry baby i was for the first week. lol. i don't think the compression bra had anything to do with your creases being uneven. happy healing hun, just let the healing process take place and don't really judge them til you're about a month out.

I have the same thing at 3 weeks postop. My lower crease is also a longer distance from my incision, which makes me fear bottoming out. I did notice, however, that my righty was a little lower pre-op, so maybe thats why! I hope it doesnt get any worse! |
