I have had an anchor lift and implants on July 8. The incisions are freaking me out a bit. i was wondering how long until they are completely healed and i don't have to worry about infection or stitches coming loose?

Hi! I had areola incisions (Benelli lift), and you'll find there are different stages. Mine were closed within a week or so. Around Week 2 I had scabs and they started to fall off. I'm in Week 6 and I can barely see the incisions anymore! It's hard to even tell where they were.

I don't have any incisions on the breast itself, just the areola, so maybe someone can help you with that part.

Be patient - you will be surprised how rapidly you start to heal once you get thru the first couple of weeks.

My doc also said to be very careful of any sun exposure, as that can cause scars to permanently darken.

Good luck with your healing!

I think mine were completely closed around week 4. Mine took extra time because I had an infection in the incision also right now I have a stitch hanging out so I still have to be careful

I am at 2 weeks and 1 day, my external stitches are out and the steri-strips are off. Most of both incisions are completely closed up, however, there are still a couple spots on both that are, not really open, but would have scabs on if I didn't still use Bacitricin and bandages. Hope that helps a little.
