Does this sound normal or like a complication/??

I had my breast augmentation/BL a week ago tomorrow.....My right one had 15 cc more than the left, and I am also right handed....The left one is sore and tight, but seems to be improving each day....But, the right one is slightly higher and harder and HURTS LIKE HELL ALL DAY long unless I am reclining in my recliner and leaning back....It definately feels like a VERY VERY tight muscle CLAMPING down on the whole side and top of my breast and squeezing it...If I get up, it doesnt hurt at first, but after walking or using my arm for a few minutes it is excrutiating until I sit down and lean back again, then I dont feel anything....It is SO painful....I try to lift my arm a little and stretch that one muscle, and it helps for a minute and then clamps down and squeezes again.....EVen hurts when I take a deep breath....This same pain has been here since 3-4 days after surgery and is NOT changing at all....I am afraid the muscle will not ever let that boob drop....I have an appt tomorrow and will mention it to him, but when I mentioned it on day 4, he said it is normal muscle stretching/pulling....He said i do NOT have an infection or hematoma...I am just scared that with all this tightness of that side, that the implant will never release and drop...also none of my friends had this kind of pain 7 days after...not just soreness...REAL bad muscle pain....Does this sound normal???

It is totally normal. Its gonna take a few months so you must be patient. The muscle will eventually loosen up especially when you can soak them in a warm bath and massage them.

I'm going through the same thing. One side feels pretty good, while the other hurts like hell along the crease after walking for a while. I'm not supposed to see my PS for my post op appt until next week, but I'm planning on going in tomorrow. I figure if a complication is beginning, I'd like to try to fix it while it might still be possible....

Let me know how you make out today with your postop. i dont see my ps until the 28th. the pain is subsiding each day. i wish you luck and hang in there.

Hey,I think thats pretty normal.My right is tighter,firmer and a lot higher than the left.I also have more in my right and i'm right handed.I think maybe for us right handed people the muscle is tighter because it is used more so maybe thats why alot of people have this problem with the right!It has to do more streching!My doctor told me that they are two boobs and it is like two different surgies and each will react differently,not to exspect them to act the same after surgery.He said one would be tighter,firmer and hurt more!He was right.Everyday is bettter,but I wish the right would just try to keep up with the left!!!I'm starting to look a little lope sided!
