Tight spasms

I just got my breast augmentation done thursday, and I keep experiencing tight spasms, so I massage. I got under the muscle. This is normal right? My chest is soooooooooo tight.

My PS prescribed valium for muscle spasms and I took it for about 4 days, so I didn't have an muscle spasms. Are you taking valium?

Horizon41 will become famous soon enough
I would call your PS since it might not be a good idea to be massaging so soon after surgery unless you were told too since it can maybe cause bleeding at first. I would call asap and see about getting something like muscle relaxers or valium.

I am having this too. I am trying my best to just relax when I feel a spasm coming on. Its hard though. I feel like my boob gets SO hard when it spasms that it's going to pop off. I have been massaging but very lightly just to relax the muscle. I am going to see my PS on Monday though and will be asking him about this.

I had it for almost 2 weeks when I got mine too. It was so tight it was almost hard to breathe. I was FREAKING out. It went away on its own and PS said it's normal, just your body reacting to something new.

You just had a medical surgery.
So please - no massaging.
Call your PS for some muscle relaxing pills.
Hope you feel better soon. The spasms will take only some days.

Just relax. Not so much walkinig, no homework no...

Think positive.

For me that was normal but if you are really worried you can call or email your PS. The spasms still come and go but are way less frequent and the tightness you are feeling, unfortunately will be there for awhile. You will start feeling better soon and in 1 month...you won't notice it as much. Best wishes!!

Well, I have been taking my valium [5mg] every eight hours and it helps very minimally. I am trying to kind of breathe and relax and that helps a bit too. On my day 1 post op she told me to massage the top, kind of taking the skin on the top of the implant and pinching it..

p.s.--thanks for all the well wishes, I have been trying to relax and stuff--I promise soon I will be getting back to my messages LOL
