![]() | Healing transax scars
I read about girls on this site that waited too long with treating their scars with creams etc and therefore they have a difficult time healing their scars and the scars are still visible. My PS told me not NOT use anything on my scars. I'm now 3 weeks post-op (transax), the scars look better - but they haven't improved aloooot the last 10 days, they are still red and you can feel a "hard line" under the skin. The right one is 1mm "over the skin". Would you girls recommend me to use something on my scars, even my PS told me not to? I really don't wanna end up regretting I didn't use anything on them when it's too late. |

I think that you should definitely use something on your scars soon. As long as the wounds are no longer open then it's totally fine (otherwise you could get an infection if they haven't closed completely and you start putting on creme) I had transax incisions and I know that I don't heal or scar well, but thanks to the creme-Regima Scar Repair- they look much better than I thought they would. Just be patient with your scars and enjoy your new boobies. Happy Healing. xx

I don't know... I don't think you'll do any damage by putting stuff on your scars. Maybe it was more of a you-don't-have-to than a you-shouldn't. My PS told me my end result would be the same regardless of what scar fade gels I used.. makes scars fade faster but not nec better. I think how your scars heal has a lot to do w/ your body and maybe only a tiny bit w/ what you put on them. But it can't hurt, eh. I'm nearly 4 months w/ transax scars that are just starting to fade, right on schedule according to PS. I've been using Bio oil for the past month and can't say if it's made much of a difference. |
