Stubborn bruise..........

Had my breast augmentation exactly 1 month and 4 days ago. All my bruises went away within the first week except for one that is located between my nipple and the center of my breast. It has looked the same since day one. It hasn't gotten darker or lighter at all. I am starting to think it is going to stay forever. Every morning I fly out of bed and head to the bathroom mirror hoping it will be gone or at least starting to fade, but, NOT!!!!!!

Has anyone had a bruise last this long???

Hmmm... I've never had a bruise last that long without changing colors and size. Interesting. Here's a list of home remedies you can try... hope that helps!

I know it's, driving me nuts.......all my other bruises were much bigger and way darker in color and they were gone the first week. This one is just stubborn and seems to be staying put

I have one that's really stubborn, and it has almost faded but it's still there 6 weeks postop.

I'm 4 weeks, 2 days from my breast augmentation and have a few bruises that have been yellow for 2 weeks! Also a redish/brownish one that is still visible. Very, very slowly fading. The one under my eye from a fat transfer went away about 3 days ago. Sometimes it just takes a long time, don't worry, your bruise is probably going away but you can't notice, it's so slow!

Can you post your fat transfer photos--I'd be really curious to see! And how have you been?

Don't worry!! When I had my rhinoplasty I had crazy bruises on my face they changed colors from dark purple, redish, to yellow (yellow was the longest stage) but meanwhile there was this other black/ purple bruise that would not leave but after 3 weeks-a month it will go away...slowly. Be patient. (I realize that this is regarding rhino but thought I should give you my experience) Stop looking at it everyday and comparing it to other bruises that left earlier
