Sorry this is long, just a lil worried... Over the last few days, my right breast has had little or no discomfort, some pain relating i think to nerves reconnecting but nothing apart from that. However, my leftie often feels much tighter and like it's full and i've been experiencing pain in the lower part between my incision (crease) and cleavage that feels like a heavy sort of ache. It usually only last for a few seconds but is on/off for half the day. Sometimes it feels less tight in this breast but will come back on later. Both sides are still quite high but my left is slightly higher and, worrier that i am, i'm starting to get concerned. Promised myself i wouldn't start worrying over every little thing but the feeling doen't seem to wear off. I'm only 4 days out but does this sound normal or could it be early signs of CC? It doesn't feel harder than my right breast and i can press down without pain but with it being so early post op i haven't tried moving them in pocket and haven't been told to massage. Also have a bandage around the bottom of my breasts over incisions, etc. so i can't see what's going on. Bandage comes off at my post-op on friday - so i can ask the nurse then but if anyone knows what it could be i could really use some advice |

Hey hun, I felt EXACTLY like you did on day 4. The ache I experienced in lefty's lower cleavage (crease to cleavage as you say) almost felt as if my muscle was tearing loose from my sternum. Lefty was also much higher than righty and alot more sensitive and tight. I think that this was very normal. You are now right in the middle of the worst 3 days post-op (in my experience) so just relax and let the days pass while keeping an eye on how things go. My left was even more swollen and this did freak me out a bit, but my PS kept telling me it's all normal, and at 3.5 months post-op, I do believe he was right. This is the hardest part you have to endure, next is the wait to drop and fluff and thats just plain old frustrating. So chin up and stay positive. Remember that you've put your body through alot of trauma having this surgery and at the moment it really isn't too happy about it so it will protest and hurt and swell as it throws a little tantrum. Stay calm and give your body the time it needs to recover, I know we all get impatient, but soon enough you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful new you and it really, REALLY will be worth all the bad bits you had to go through. Goodluck and let me know how you feel later on k?
