Alcohol Post Op

How soon post op can we go clubbing and have a few drinks? I will ask my PS too but thought I would ask here also and get a rough idea of how long you ladies left it.
I wouldn't be bothered if it was August/Sept I was having surgery, but its Halloween soon, and I wanna be going out flaunting my new boobage in a cute costume.
My surgery is 7th October, any idea if I would be able to go out? Providing I'm comfortable enough of course
Look at me, been here for ages without posting any questions, now its less than 2 weeks away, I'm firing em out at all angles!!

I had a beer about 7 days later, while at lunch with mom, I just dont over do it right now, and if your still on the meds be careful, I wouldnt recommend drinking with pain killers.
unless your home, I have had ONE beer with a vicodin.

I was told no Alcohol till 2weeks post op, as Alcohol thins the blood so this can cause excesive bleeding, hematoma's, blood clots and cause scars to heal badly. I would not reccomend any Alcohol till after 2weeks (but follow whatever you PS says) also because you'll probably still be on pain meds and antibiotics and you dont want Alcohol to hinder these meds.

If your op is on the 7th you'll have over 3 weeks of recovery before halloween so i'm sure you'll be fine for then, just take extra special care of your self and your new girls in the first 2 weeks.

HTH good luck with your op babe and happy healing xoxoxo

I am 2w2d PO and havent had anything to drink yet...no desire. Honestly, I am still uncomfortable w/ them...they are tight (and high) and still tender...I for sure would'nt want to be dancing/ bouncing or risking someone bumping into my chest right now...can't even imagine in 2w I'd feel much different but we shall see.

You gotta take it easy! They'll be plenty of times for you to "show off your boobage ina cute costume"

I am currently 10 days out and i just had drinks last night. I think that as soon as your off the pain meds and back on your feet, you can have alcoholic drinks.

I was told no alcohol 2 weeks before, and 2 weeks after. Its a blood thinner.. so stay clear as you are instructed to prevent complications.. and of course dont mix with pills.

Good luck with your upcoming breast augmentation

My friend's hens night is in 3 weeks time. I just had my breast augmentation on Saturday 26/9. My PS told me that I should be recovered by then to consume alcohol and also off the pain meds. Good Luck with your coming breast augmentation! I'm sure you'll do fine!

I waited 2 weeks before partying. I was afraid I'd get drunk and clumsy and hurt myself, but I found I was very cautious (ever after quite a few) and would cover the girls (when walking in a crowded bar, etc.), instinctively. You should be fine for halloween!

I was allowed to drink two weeks after surgery, I went to a club about two weeks later, and it was uncomfortable, cause it was soo crowded, and I was paranoid about someone bumping into me.

This is what i'm afraid of! All i can think of are the many many times when either myself or my friends have fallen or whatever and gotten hurt before..... We're pretty clumsy lol i need to be super careful!
I think i will be like you though and protecting them 24/7! Lol

I'm sure you'll be fine. I found it's so ingrained in my head, the fear of falling/bumping the girls, that I was extra careful (without thinking), and my drinking was lighter then usual. I'd just think twice before hitting really crowded bars.

You can drink as long as your comfortable after your surgery...im sure u wont want to a week after but as long as ur off your meds you can. I sure did and i did a few days before surgery too because my doctor said i could. But on the other hand watch your surroundings for other people bumping into you/ fights and etc...because it might hurt to get bumped......

Otherwise enjoy your new toys haha.
