Small boobie greed?

So I keep finding myself with boobie greed, but not the typical I wish they were bigger kind. I keep seeing women with 275-300 and I feel opposite boobie greed, I wish I had small ones! I know I am only a few days out, but I wish I could have had little implants. I've always had really big boobs, then when I nursed my kids they just went down, a lot. They are probably the size they were when I nursed but of course they are a different shape. I think I am having a hard time getting used to these boobs. I sure hope that I get used to them and LOVE them! I guess I could've gone smaller if I had a lift, but my nipples were fine and I choose to forgo the scars. Does anyone feel the same way? Or is it just boobie blues and will go away? The one thing that has made me really happy in the whole experience is seeing my husbands face when he looks at my boobs. Seriously he is like a kid in the candy store! BUt I wonder if the novelty will wear off? It's weird, they are big like the used to be but on the other hand they are nothing like the used to be! Ok I'M just seriously confused I think. Maybe it's all the meds haha

Sorry that you feel disappointed. Your less than a week out so I think you should give yourself some more time to fully recover. I think we all get nit-picky in the post-op stage and forget how its only been a short time. My hubby reminds me all the time when I start fretting over this, that, and the other when it comes to my boobies. I was so scared that I was gonna be top heavy a couple days after surgery, cuz they were really high and huge, but now that couldnt be further from the truth and they are perfect to me. I've been dropping consistently for the last couple weeks and its def made a good impact on my overall look. Sorry so long!

Ellie will become famous soon enough
You're still swollen!!! I'm 4 months post op and it's only really in the last month that all my swelling has disappeared. I remember at around 2 months post op being told I still had swelling and I thought no way it all went away in the first month. Guess I was wrong. My boobs are still the same size but I can see that they look smaller so I was like hey what happened to my boobs?! They shrunk! Then again everyone else tells me that they are big and some of the women who have seen them naked are like wow you have huge boobs and another was like no way your a 34DD/E you look much bigger than that. I'm happy I just don't see them as big my old implants were a 34F and once they sagged and rotated, etc were far too big for my body. What I'm trying to say is that you may see them as huge and too big but chances are others won't. I bet you will get used to your new size and love it. We go through so many mixed emotions. Are you in a sports bra? They can squash your boobs down. And wear loose tops or even a button down shirt - go the bogan flannel shirt! Lol

breast augmentation Date 6th March 2008

REDO 2nd of June 2009
Full anchor lift switched from overs to partial unders because of visible implant edges and for a more natural feel
Capsulectomy for capsular contracture
360cc partial unders
Looks like I'm a 34DD/E
Cohesive silicone gel textured anatomical
Also found out that my old implants had partially rotated and were too wide for my chest wall. They were supposed to have been HP but I was given mods or mods + (can't remember which)

REVISION 10th of November 2009
Manually release left muscle so it can drop and lower pocket by 1cm
Remove some breast tissue from right so they are even and do another lift as it's slighty saggy
Please please be third time lucky!

I don't think anyone can say whether or not you will def be happy with them but I would think that once they start to settle you will find they are more "you" again.

Apee girl!! I've felt a bit similar to you at times. I wouldn't go back to my ''no boob days'' but even though I got 300-310 (not considered big!) part of me feel like I would have been perfect with 275-280 (I guess I feel at smaller sizes like this the 20-25cc difference would show).
But I analysed myself for feeling like this and I really think time will tell... You know everyone says give it time to heal, D&F, but I also think some of us need the time to psychologically get use to them also. It is a very evident body altering operation and for a girl like me, as prepared as I was, I wasn't expecting ''the real boob look and feel'', but for example: I never thought I would have so much upper pole in a bra, wich makes them look more round (and obviously more fake) or that I'd be so shocked to have to buy M-L & XL bikini tops..or that my ''big 32B cup dream'' would turn out to fit perfectly in a 32D or 34C equivalent. Adding to this, I personaly came to realise that part of my adaptation to these boobs have lots to do with the fact that not many people don't know about my breast augmentation and it makes me self conscious of what I wear and where I show them more. In the end, there's the possibility of ''smaller boobie greed'' that won't go away (Hey why not, everyone's allowed the original ''bigger boobie greed''!!) or simply just with time, all will be fine and we'll adjust perfectly. I say Give it time!! at least up to a year!
Take care girl!! and BTW, you look really good!!

aww i think no matter what size you choose it's so hard getting used to the change. you're only a week out so it's perfectly normal to feel this way. i was torn between 350 and 405 but since everyone i know either wished they had gone bigger or got a redo to go bigger i just opted for the 405. it also helped when my PS said that with a bigger implant i could go for a benelli rather than full anchor.
my first few weeks i was not happy at all with them. aside from the D&F i just wished i had gone smaller. i have a small frame and didn't enjoy having to buy a large in everything when i should be wearing an XS. what fit around my chest was soooo baggy around my tummy so i just didn't go shopping
now i'm 7weeks out and i'm so much happier with my results. although most women tend to get bigger as they fluff mine seemed to get a little smaller and have more shape. the swelling is gone and the bras i bought right after breast augmentation are now too big. i'm also thrilled to say that last night i tried on a shirt that i couldnt even get into a week after breast augmentation and it i could button it!

THanks that gives me some hope. I have noticed that the left one has dropped more and seems smaller and rounder. I am also pretty small and went shopping last night and guess what? I was buying large too. Pretty depressing. But they are looking good. Thanks again.

i have had 3 operations and sometimes the swelling can take up to a year if its your first and 6 if its not i find women are happier that go bigger because they dont realize just how much swelling there is. sorry so long i am in so much pain right now i am trying to take my mind off things. this one hurts worse then the first one in 96 and i didnt think that was possible. good luck your beautiful

Thanks for this great post. It really helps to keep everything in perspective. I'm actually really happy with my results when I'm at home. But when I go shopping for clothes, they seem huge. I know I mentally need to adjust like you said and also learn how to dress these babies . It feels like when I put on a shirt in the store dressing room, it's like a blinking arrow is pointing at me saying " BOOBS!!!! LOOK BOOBS!!!! ". So I still have "smaller boobie greed" when I go to the mall. But honestly, overall I am happy with what I have.
