Although my is in June I'm planning on almost 2 weeks. breast augmentation on a Tuesday - out for the rest of the week and following. I work with infants and Doc doesnt want me lifting for about 2 weeks. So I'm hoping I'll be good to go.

Hey there! I had my surgery and didn't have to go back to work for 11 days, until the Tuesday the week after. I had a breast augmentation/BL and probably could have used a bit more time off. I'm a dentist so I have a pretty active job and couldn't do any extractions, lol, but other than that I was fine! My PS was surprised I was back at work as soon as I was, but other than being tired I was fine. I am still sore in general but I don't think not working would help that. As for working out, I have been doing LOTS of walking, but nothing more yet. My PS said at 3 weeks I can do more, but there is no way I could be running or anything at this point. I am going to get on the bike in next week, do some abs and maybe leg workouts without weights. He said no vigorous chest exercises for at least 3-6 months and I am totally fine with that.

Surgeon advised me to take minimum of 3 weeks off work and not to go back to gym for 6 weeks. Am 8 days post breast augmentation and still don't have full movement in my arms!

Hello everyone!

I just had my surgery yesterday (Friday) and took the next 2 weeks off. I actually work in an operating room and lift very heavy trays (15-25 pounds) constantly, plus I work 12 hour shifts so I really wanted to make sure I'm fully healed before attempting to go back.

I took Friday off for my surgery, and went back to work on Monday. I have a desk job. I had no pain and stopped my pain meds on Sunday night.
