 |  I am FREE of the drain tube!
hah! My Blood CC count was under 30 last couple days so I got to have the drain tube removed today! weeee! That was not pleasant I went to my doctor as to avoid the 1.5 hour drive to have the nurse take it out.. My surgeon wasn't going to be there anyways so I figure Id go the convenience route  It was freakin long!!! holy dyna! Like 8 inches! anyway it's out - I am no longer sporting the blood tube and bulb. I have a hole where it was and the doc says Ill probably have a scar, but it doesn't bother me. It wont be noticeable unless I am standing on my head  I have noticed in the last couple hours when I lift my arm I have a weird gurgling noise inside my breast where the tube was...  Just thought Id share my good news

Kinda icky but still good news!! Why did you have it in to begin with? Is that something your PS does with all BAs or was there a problem? Sorry if you ahve already posted this somewhere, I didn't look before I asked!

Yes, what did you have the tube in for? I may be having one in after my revision surgery.

Good for you. One less thing to deal with and worry about. Do you mind me asking what it felt like when they took the tubes out? If all goes well, I'm supposed to get mine out on wednesday. It wouldn't hurt to mentally prepare myself if it's going to be bad.

Thanks everyone! It is awesome - Even though it wasnt toooo annoying having it in - just kinda inconvenient..one more thing to worry about - like at night I worried I would pull on it or something.. I just had that creepy crawly feeling is all.. I am not a wimp and I am not afraid of pain, but I havent dealt with the slinky pully creepy crawly feeling- gives me shivers and makes my stomach turn.. too graphic? It really isnt bad..I think mine may have been longer than most - my doctor was surprised.. He's like "It's still coming!!" UCK.

well I never had drain tubes but have seen enough pics to know that I am sure one would be very glad to have them gone hope you are feeling well
