Smokers ???

I was just wondering if any of you smokers smoked afterwards before the two weeks was up.
If so how did you heal up etc...
My surgon actually looked at my incision and told me to stop smoking... that kind of scared me but smoking isn't something I have leaarned to give up just because I am supposed to if that was the case I would have years ago.
Please help Ladies

smoker here. I didn't quit before, smoked on day 4 after, and have been fine. Of course, you should NOT smoke. Quitting is very hard, kuddos to all that do, try and take your PS advise for now. Ask PS if taking extra vitiman C and E is ok, smokers lack that.

I quit two weeks before and two weeks after surgery..It was very hard for the first week because it was such a habit.. but after that was over, it became alot easier.. It does slow healing so you really should give it up, It's not worth all the money and pain of a breast augmentation to ruin your chances of a great outcome... I messed up and bought a carton after the two weeks were up.. I did realize I have more soreness then I did before and I think it has to do with smoking again...

Well, to be honest I smoked the whole time. I did cut down about a week before surgery but got right back to a pack a day a couple of days after the surgery. I had no problems, but it really was stupid of me........I'm lucky I had no complications..........
