First Post Op Appointment!

Hi ladies,

Had my first post op appt with my PS today (I had breast augmentation 12 days ago). Everything is healing beautifully! He took the OpSite bandage and steri-strips off of the incisions. WOW! The scars are a bit dry/chafed looking, but he gave me some 'magic' lotion to rub on them.

He also said I could start massaging my breasts now too, to help make sure the tissue does not adhere to the implants, thereby decreasing the chance of capsular contracture. They are actually starting to soften and get a little squishy.....YAY!!!! Big change from the rock hard boobies I had a week ago.

He said they are still high and will definitely drop more (and 'fluff' too). Another thing I am very happy about!

I have his ok to go back to the gym (for cardio) in 2 more days. WOOOHOOOO! I have missed that place! However, when it comes to weights, I can only do lower body workouts for now. He said to wait 8 weeks before I do full body workouts with weights.

I get to burn this ugly surgical bra too! He recommended I stick with supportive type bras until I am 4 weeks post op. Sports bras or other full support bras....then after that, I can do whatever I want with with the girls. Push them up, push them together......go braless.....the sky's the limit. HEHEHE!

I couldn't be happier!!!!

great news! i have a 3 week post op on thursday and am pretty much hoping for the same news..although, i was told i could do light cardio after 2 weeks

YIPPEEEEEE!!!! Congrats darlin'! I love happy "endings"....or should I say "beginnings". Take good care of yourself still and don't overdo things. I felt really good to and had to watch myself to keep from going right back into my routines.
