I'm have breast augmentation, BL & TT done all in one "sitting". I have prepared myself for the discomfort. Since I use to be a 42 DD and now a saggy/soggy 34DD I have more than enough tissues to be as large as Pamela Anderson so I don't foresee my skin being extra tight and that painful. At least I hope...

please note that everyone recovery is different.

I just prepared myself for the worst recovery ever. I thought about what everyone said had happen to them (woke up in pain, can't lift arms, need help doing everything etc) but when the time came for me it wasn't bad at all. I had mentally prepared myself for the worst but it all went by so fast for me. The only thing that bugged me was from the nausea I had the day after surgery.

A week later I look back at the surgery and thought that was it. I was actually kinda sad from the recovery since I wish my BF babied more! Hahaha I know I'm evil for that but hey It's nice to have someone do everything for you!!!

Good luck I'm sure everything you will be fine. Just read as much as you can here at JBI so when you time comes you will be ready for anything!

First three days is not easy for most but their are some people who just do better then others. My friend at work is not a heavy drinker or drunk she went out the second night because her friends had some party going and she was completely fine. Everyone is different but I would expect to have some pain and take it easy no matter what to avoid complications....and CONGRATS....

In all honesty, my recovery has been a breeze compared to what I expected.

The 2nd and 3rd day post op was the worst for me but once I started to ween myself off the meds, I felt soooooo much better!

The night of surgery I was only able to take 1.5 of my pain killers and every time I took any, I puked it right back up. They made me soooo sick to my stomach! I started taking Extra Strength Tylenol the night of surgery and that's all I took for pain. At 10 days post op, I haven't had anything for pain for 3 days now (not counting the Tylenol I took for a headache 2 days ago).

Don't get me wrong, I am not back to my full duties as a SAHM by any means. My hubby was able to take 2 weeks off work to help me with the boys and next week I will be spending with my mom so she can help me with the boys. I don't lift them at all... so taking my youngest in and out of the tub, high chair, and crib I still need help with as well as changing his diaper (he is a kicker and a difficult one to change!) and switching laundry from the wash to the dryer is painful as well. Besides that... I am able to do some cooking, picking up, folding laundry, etc. Oh, I did try to drive for the first time yesterday and that was a little painful but not to the point where I couldn't drive... just had to be careful.

The whole "morning boob" thing kind of sucks and I get sore in the evening as well but nothing that I need to take meds for.

Well let's see it's day for for me so the pain is still pretty fresh in my mind. The first day I was in a lot of pain. A little bit of nausa but I didn't ever throw ip. The second day I was still in a lot of pain and needed a lot of help getting in and out of bed. Things I must say have been easier for me. I'm able to do pretty much everything on my own now. I am still in pain but I think I'm going to stop taking the vicodin soon so I can be all the way back to normal. My big suggestion is Ginger ale xoxo

I just had my breast augmentation today. Silicone, unders 338cc. I really don't know what the profile is. I'm guessing just medium because I am 30something and wasn't really trying to look 21 again. I was going more for shape.

Anyway, my recovery has been great thus far. Oh, I had endoscopic transax. My armpits are purple. The pressure at first was crazy. Like I was thinking, "OMG! What have I done to myself?! Get these things out of my body!" But I'm not big on drugs. I have Vicodin, but won't take it unless I REALLY need it. I came home and took two Tylenols at 4:30 and I feel great, all things considered. I'm just going to keep taking the Tylenol on schedule every four hours.

I don't know if my body just heals differently(I've had a major abdominal surgery before and had a quick recovery), or the transax had more to do with it. Maybe the size, too, because they aren't huge. Many variables. But this is great.

Just try to stay positive. Expect the best. And try not to get worked up. Really, in the end, worrying about it ahead of time won't change anything anyway. Just know that you will be fine!
