![]() | Massageing
Can anyone help me????? So I was at my post op last week and was given clearence to start massageing, but the way he showed me to do this, it hurts too much. The worst thing is he told me to do this twice daily minimum, but it just hurts too much. The technique he showed me was to grab the breat on each side and sqeeze the sides inwards, almost like a full hand pinch, and also to move my breast around in a circular motion. Can anyone with unders provide me any other technique that may not be so painful????? Please Thanks Ladies . . . . XOXO BG

I just saw my PS last friday and he also told me to start massaging. All he told me to do was kind of push on the top of my push it like 6o times and to just sqeeze all over. I know my description isnt the best haha, but maybe youtube some breast massages. Sorry im not much help. Maybe some other ladies have some better techniques. HTH.

Visionquest has a great massage video posted in her profile but you might not be able to do it yet since you are still in pain. my doc just showed me only 1 to do. (but now I just man handle them haha) I take the opposite hand to the other breast use my 3 fingers to displace the implant basically to move them out of their pockets. I press down at the bottom on the implant, right above the crease to push them about 2-3 inches up towards my collarbone. I do that to each side about 20 times in the am & pm, after my shower, during the shower, driving in the car sitting at work etc.. It hurted more on my dominant side more. Like I can feel the implant slide down to it's pocket and a little burning sensations but it went away in 3-4 days. I was scared to do it but I had to if I wanted my boobies to be soft and have open pockets. It will get better in time or ask someone to help you do it if you are scared. I have pictures of the displacement I do in my private album if you wanna see |

I'm so glad someone posted this. My left, non-dominant side, is still much higher than my right and I've been aggressively massaging now, but I'm not sure of the proper technique. From reading the posts, though, it doesn't sound as though there's one specific one that's the best. My doc told me just to push down, like, really hard, but I've been doing big pinches and pushes and all sorts of stuff to avoid CC. |

I've been massaging since day after surgery, now talk about pain. After a few times it does feel bettet. I actually found the massage to relieve morning boob and throughout the day when they feel tight. 1. I take both hands and push them together- Helps with cleavage 2. I take the bottom of each breast and push the implant up than push it back down 20xs each. 3 I place my hands over my nipples grasping each breast and move them in a circular motion 10xs than repeat in opposite direction.....HTH |

Yes it will hurt at first but try to make yourself do it anyway for it will help keep your pockets open and prevent scar tissue from forming. I got cc in my right at week 4 and I sometimes look back and wonder if I did not massage as much as I was told. Fighting cc is also very painful I had to do aggressive massage many times a day and it felt like I was squeezing a painful bruise. You are early still but the more you massage the less it will hurt after about 5 days it gets better or it did for me.
