Back to work???

Hi Everyone! I am scheduled to have my breast augmentation on Friday. I am so excited! However, I am a middle school teacher and through a change in schedule we are having parent-teacher conferences on the following Tuesday afternoon. I really feel like I should be there, but I'm not sure how I'll be feeling. Do you think that I'll be ok to sit and talk to people for a few hours? Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that by Tuesday you will be ok to be back at work, but are the parent-teacher conferences in the afternoon or the evening? I noticed that I was so tired in the evenings the first few days back at work.

Thanks, the conferences start at noon and I'll have to be there until 6, although I won't have parents that whole time.
