any november girls still unable to function?

First off, everyone heals differently, so take a deep breath, and chin up. IT WILL GET BETTER. I know you're saying "WHEN!?!" But each day those sore muscles will get stronger, and the pain will subside. You are not being a wimp. Everyone's pain threshold, so to speak is different. I think getting off the harder pain meds and switching to a tylenol and/or motrin/advil medication is so much better, but that's just me. I'm post OP day 5, and I move about so much. I can't drive, nor would I try to, but I move my arms a lot. Ice was my best friend in the beginning, and shoulder shrugs. That loostened everything up for me, but I know I have tons of limitations still. I stopped my Pain Meds (The harder ones) on Day 3. I'm no super woman, believe me, I just couldn't stand how sick and tired they made me. As soon as I did that and switched to once a day Tylenol or Motrin, everything got better. But that's me.

I'm so sorry your blue It'll pass. You have these 2 beautiful boobies that need some loving. It's kinda like having a baby, you are given something very preciuous to take care of in the beginning and its very fragile, and in the same token, as your taking care of the new baby (boobies) you have to rest yourself, and heal yourself.

Eat well, protein, fish, veggies, fruit, and drink a lot of water and take a multi vitamin for stamina and strength.

It'll get better...each day...just a little bit, until you've forgotten how you weren't able to do too much because you are doing everything!!

And yes, this website does rock. It has guided me so much over the past few months. Thanks to all who guide us, inform us and nurture us on this site! WHOO HOO! You guys are the best!

I know what u mean! Had surgery 11/10 and my left is doing awesome my right one is killing me, the nipple itself is way more sore and there is a little bump on the outside near my armpit that is really tender.... Have my follow up appointment tomorrow morning so hoping he says its just an air pocket or something! it wont drop as quickly as the other side either... It's being my problem child! I stopped taking the Vicodin on day 4, i was super depressed and couldn't do anything but sleep. I just take it now for the morning boob pain occasionally.

My PS doesnt recommend massage- Thank GOD! Because I couldnt do it right now either.

Jamiec3- I miss cuddling too which is why I tried to sleep flat last night- but couldnt because I kept trying to roll onto my side in my sleep ( I am no back sleeper either) but would be awaken by a stabbing pain in my boobs. They dont like the side sleeping yet that is for sure.

I am also just taking extra strength tylenol but have not tried to drive. But I do try and do too much and end up paying for it!

I am so glad to have had my breast augmentation in Nov with such a great group of girls!

from what i have read, massaging the breasts after breast augmentation helps prevent CC. but then again, i am no doctor, nor have i had my breast augmentation yet. Anyways, hope all is well. :-)

My doc never told me to massage, all he asked is that I wear the strap 24/7. I read so many different things on this site, so I think each doc has his own reasons for his own paitients. Probably different for everyone. Hope you get to feeling better

i am going on day 5. I am having a similar problem...my left kills and my right is just fine. I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies know how long it takes for the torpedo tit to go away???
also, my ps told me not to massage or wear a band...just the funky bra. is that weird?

I had the same thing for days. When I hit day 9, today, I will say everything changed. My right boob and my left boob feel the same, finally.The pain is finally gone. My PS also told me I didn't have to wear the strap or massage. I only was to massage where the incision was (crease, under breast). He also told me I could change bras and wear any sports bras, or any bras as long as they weren't underwire. Every PS is different, so listen to your PS. I think all PS have their reasons for telling their patients what to do and not to do. At least that's what I think. Also, my stats are similar to yours. Congrat's!
