 | Follow Ups?
Just wondering, How many follow ups did you girls have post-op and for how long e.g. 6 months, 1 year? I will be moving to another country soon and so far had been to 3-4 follow ups with my PS. He said that usually the follow ups will decrease to about once a year. is it vital to have these visits to the PS or do some of you girls stop seeing your PS right after the initial 1-2 months post op? any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

I went day 3, 6 weeks, 6 month's, then once a year forever.

My PS likes to see the progress so he saw me the day after, a week after, then at my 5 week mark, then 3 months, 6 months, then at my year mark. Then once a year forever.

Well I had cc so I was seeing my ps every 2 weeks for a while after week 4 and now I am down to once a month but now that I need a revision on my left he is not seeing me until Jan to set the date for this he wanted to see me one more time when I was post 6 months for evalutation of my issues and then set me surgery date.

So far only one follow up at 2 eeks po. Next one is at 3 months.

I think mine was 3 day, 2 week bc hematoma, 2months, 6month & now I'm doing it all over again bc of complications but in your case as long as you don't get any problems you should ask your doctor if you can send him pics by email & that way he can see how you are progressing since you will be in another country. Just give your ps a call & let him know!
