Did anyone else think their boobs looked ugly post op?

Im talking about straight after any bandages or strapping came off. Did your new boobs look strange?

I think mine are horrid and hoping they settle down super fast.
How long does swelling take to calm down and gravity take hold of the shape?

Hi! It's normal for them to look a little crazy since your cleavage area usually is pretty swollen and many different colors! With my first breast augmentation, they were super far apart and looked like pointy torpedoes! Now since they are larger, they look better but I still have a lot of swelling and discoloration. Don't worry, they get better, they just need time to settle in, especially if you were pretty small pre-breast augmentation. I'd give it a few weeks.

That's completely normal, they always look a little freaky after surgery.
but don't worry they will drop and soften up in time.

I guess i knew it was normal for them to be freakish looking but still felt pretty shocked! Arrgh bring on the 'fluffing' or whatever its called!

Yes, completely normal. Through time you will drop & fluff. They will literally change daily for the first several weeks. And most women see changes up to one year post op. My PS reminded me "they wont be pretty at first" Which was actual good to hear, I had no shock or disappointment. If anything I felt relieved they looked as good as they did. Hang in there, and they will drop and fluff into big ole boobieful boobies!

hey. dont freak they will change. i had major frankenboob after surgery. go look at my 3 month progression album and you will see how much they change and how freaky they can look sometimes... =)

I also have a couple of questions along that line. I am 6 days post-op and I am wondering if I will ever get used to the feeling of them in my body? They are all I can think about because it feels so weird, its not really a pain as much as it feels like two giant balls shoved under my skin. Also, how common is CC, I am so afraid of getting it?

P.S. Unclothed I have major torpedo boob too...

I hope mine will look this good! I just had 752cc silicone unders and they are very swollen and very high and not really filled in the middle (around aerola). I hope they will drop and look great!

Glad im not the only one! its strange when they get in the way of my arms resting against my sides!!
Thanks ladies feeling more positive, ive wanted this for so long, feels silly to be dissatisfied so early.

I think that you would be hard pressed to find a single person who didn't think their boobs looked weird, strange, hideous <insert any adjective you like>
It's all part and parcel of them settling post op and that is a process that takes some time... lots of time in fact until you see any kind of final result

The good news is... you will see your result!!! Hang in there!

Im 13 days post op and i still dont like the way they look.I guess we have to give it time and hopefully they will look good.Hope every thing turns out for you.

I am 4 days post op and they look weird. They actually dropped about a cm so they are starting to look a lot better.

All breast augmentation boobs or I should say most since some girls do look really good after surgery but I think for the majority of us (me included )have the swollen square boobs for a while

I started off with quite a bit of tissue.... Insert implants and poof I had immediate Spaniel ears!
Implants sat high, breast tissue at the bottom..saggy...empty waiting for implant to drop into it...SO DROP ALREADY! LOL

Oh definitely they looked horrid in the beginning .. and, I think I came to the realization yesterday that because I have such HUGE areolas (I am talking freakishly!) that I am never going to like how my boobs look because I think I would have to get 1000cc's for my areolas to be any where near proportionate to my boob size
