![]() | Does Anyone Else Feel This Way??
I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way as I do. I am 7 days post op and it seems like every other day I feel great and those days are followed by a day of feeling like crap. It is so annoying. I woke up Monday and felt pretty good and then woke up tuesday and was in excruciating pain and then I woke up yesterday and felt pretty good and then again woke up today and don't feel so great

YES! I had two operations, but some days I'm ready to roll and others I just wake up in excrutiating pain and am like that until noon. As time passes, it'll just get better. I know this from having previous procedures (not PS things, just in general), but I'm waiting for the end of November so badly.

I'm having some of the same concerns. I'm 6 days POST OP. Yesterday was a great day, today I'm a bit tired, and much more sore upon getting up. Morning boob was definitely worse today then yesterday, and I have no idea why? I will add, the more I move my upper body, especially my arms, the better I feel. Just listen to your body, rest. Give yourself all the great nutrients it needs to heal. I'm a huge advocate on eating healthy. Your recovery time will be lestened if you fuel your body with nutrients. Veggie, fruits, fish, eggs, calcium, vitamin C etc. Lot's of water too. It'll also help keep the bobby blues away, I think. BUT if you have more bad days then good days, call your plastic surgeon, and see if he/she/they can offer some advice to ease your pain, tiredness discomfort etc. The nurse told me today it would take another week at least until I had more strength to do simple things like button a pair of jeans. GO FIGURE! I can blow dry my hair, but it hurts to button my jeans. Our muscles need to heal...as does our body. We had major surgery and being tired means our body is using its energy to heal us, so we in turn need to listen to it, and rest rest rest. I sound like my mother ack! Since we're very close in breast augmentation dates, and stats, I'll Friend request you and we can keep tabs on eachother's progress. I hope this helped! GOOD LUCK! You look great, and you are doing great! (Even with the bad days, which will be gone soon!!). CONGRAT'S! |

Yeah, I think what you are experiencing is normal. I'm 16 days out and have had pretty much the same thing, except its one day of exhaustion, followed by a day full of energy. My morning boob comes and goes too.

I hate The morning boob and the random waking up in the middle of the night all stiff. I just recently started getting a lot of pain under my right armpit I guess it's my nerves. I still haven gone back to work and am not looking forward to it :-(
