How often to massage?

I think i was in to much shock to take in anything my surgeon said!

How often should i be doing the lifting massage to keep the pocket open? and for how long?

I just had my breast augmentation yesterday and saw this morning for post-op. He said to massage them every hour, four times each breast for the next couple of days.

Each Dr. is different though.

I was required to start my massage at 1 week post op. I push my breasts up, down, apart and together. Also known as quadrant massage. I do 20 sets, twice a day. (morning and night)

I didn't even start massaging mine until week 2 (per my PS instructions) now he has me do 3 reps of ten on each every night...or more if my heart so desires but it doesn't yet...they hurt
I would call your PS to see what HE wants
