Help..feels like I may have pulled a suture.

I was reaching...yes when I shouldn't and feel like I may have pulled a suture. I am in Alaska and can't see my doc till Wednesday in Washington. Anyone else have this happen? What should I be looking for? There is still tape on the sutures so I can't actually see whats going on just feels like needle poking me right there now.

I felt the same way about a week ago! I made a thread about it to ease my thoughts and thankfully someone replied saying that is probably wasn't anything too bad. Having the tape over it is hard because you can't see for yourself, but if you don't see any new blood forming I think you should be okay. When I got it checked out the next day I was 100% fine. Have your PS look at you when you can, but don't stress yourself out.

I get this too every so often, and like you I have a dressing still over them. It mainly happens in my right one but its also like needles/burning right in the incision. My dressings are still dry and clean and no sign of bleeding so Im not stressing too much, as it only happens with certain movements. But maybe ring your surgeon for an opinion if you are worried and cant get in to see him.
