Question Scarring

My doctor gave me info on the Medi Patch Gell Z. THe nurse said the people that have used it and came into the office loved it and said it was the best thing they have ever used. I think it might be alittle pricey. She said to wait to order it til after surgery. I was wanting to know if anyone of this site has used this for scarring and what did you think of it.

Hmmm, I've never heard of that. I used a silicone sheet (biodermis) for incisions on my areola 8 years ago, and it worked perfectly. I wonder if the Medi Patch is similar. This time around my incisions are worse, and I'm trying a scar ointment in the day and the silicone sheets at night. Good luck

I have not heard of it either, my surgeon went with the paper tape as he highly recommended it and liked it. However each surgeon has their own rules and regulations..lol
I will for sure ask my surgeon about it next time I go into to see him. I wonder if anyone else here has used this as well?
