Sleeping on my stomach..?

Before my breast augmentation I was a hugeee tummy sleeper. After, I could barely sleep because I could only sleep on my back. Gradually I began sleeping on my side, and now I wake up on my stomach! I'm not in pain when I'm sleeping, but when I wake up, I feel a tightness in my breasts. I am just over 4 weeks out, and was wondering if it is ok to be sleeping on my chest this early, or even at all. Thanks!

I too am a tummy sleeper. I was able to sleep on my stomache pain free after about a month. Sooo glad to be able too! Pretty soon there shouldn't even be that tightness:-)

When I was 3 weeks out of my breast augmentation my surgeon had me sleeping on my stomach 10 minutes each night working my way up to an hour. I slept on my stomach ever since. Looking forward to the day I can do it again since I just had pocket revision. I think you are fine.

I love to sleep on my stomach so I have worked my way up to it. I am still tight and sometimes sore when I first move off my stomach but it goes away very quickly.

I only slept on my stomach before my breast augmentation.. After the breast augmentation, I had the hardest time trying to sleep on my back. After about a month, I started sleeping on my side.. 4 months later, I still haven't slept on my stomach.. I want to, but it freaks me out.. I'm afraid of putting the pressure on the implants or maybe deforming them haha... I know that probably won't happen, but I guess it is alright to do since now I know people are already doing it at 3 weeks PO.

I think if I actually knew I was sleeping on my stomach, I wouldn't do it. When I wake up and notice I am I flip around. I think because I am so used to doing it, and now that I'm not in pain anymore, my body naturally does it without even thinking about it. Everything seems ok though, so I'm not worried - I'm just glad I'm sleeping much more comfortably. Thanks for your thoughts ladies!

My ps told me not to sleep on my stomach or side for 2 weeks but I waited for 4 to start with my side. At 6 weeks I started "testing" stomach sleeping and so far, so good. I don't think I stay there for more than an hour but I'll generally fold my arms so that they are on the bed between my pillow and my boobs, sort of making my body even instead of having my boobs stick out so far. There have definitely been a couple times when I woke up and they were sore or didn't feel good, but for the most part things are normal. I keep telling myself that the compression will make them softer faster. LOL
