I want to know if any one else loved their surgical bra?? Might sound strange, but I spent good money on a couple of sports bras that zipped in the front for after my post op but I HATE THEM...!! So I keep finding myself putting on my surgical bra instead and I called my ps office on Friday and they sell them. So tomorrow I am going to pick up a new one. It is soft, has special compression on the sides, Doesn't dig into my collar bone, its not itchy, give me great under boob support too. I just love it. Any one else??????????????

ha !! i'm the same way. i went to like every store to find a good front closure sports bra... but they don't compare to my surgical bra. the worst one was from Champion, it's like a wetsuit material that zipped in the front. the best one i found was from Bestform, which my PS recommended. It's cotton and has the multiple hook closures in the front.

Mine is perfectly comfortable...not that the PS gave me a choice either. lol They did give me an extra on so I can rotate as I wash them. The strap I have to wear wasn't bothering up until now...it's starting annoy me in my armpits!

My surgeon put a Warners brand bra on me in surgery. It was very comfortable and soft. They are wireless and padless. You can find them at Macy's, Penney's, and sometimes TJ Maxx.

I still wear mine to bed. Mine is nice soft cotton and does up with 6 hook and loop fasteners at the front.

I loved that bra but after the first month it didnt fit right anymore. I miss my surgical bra!! I bought other bras that fasten in the front like my surgical bra but do not feel the same.

Yes, I changed out of my surgical bra for a day as it became soiled. I felt so much more comfortable in it. I have over shoulder velcro straps to adjust snugness. Doesn't bother me to wear it. Not the most fashionable but I don't care at 5 days post op. |

Chickies Girls, do you know the name/brand of the bra you got from your ps that you liked? I ordered one online (Brand was Marena), and the size was way off. I also bought a Hanes sports bra that unhooks in the front from Walmart, but I feel like it doesn't fit as well as it should to be supportive. I'd really like to find a good, supportive bra, especially when I start working out again. Thanks |

From a support stand point, I would leave the top 4 open than the bottom 4. Girlfriend gravity is a bi%^&

OOoooo...Mine's nice and stretchy, breathable and comfy!!! My Mom said it's soo much better than what they made her wear. Not that I could even be sexy at this point but I also love that it's black!!! Much less ugly if it happens to be showing! Definitely a keeper! ![]() Even though... I cannot wait to go "pretty" bra shopping!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I love my $7.00 walmart bra. It has eye hooks in front and it's awesome and cheap.

My ps put me in a really comfortable cotton/elastic bra postop. It's by Marena...kinda pricey, $60 a pop, but it's supposed to be specially made for post breast augmentation. All the seams are on the outside, it clips in the front and in the back (whichever way you want to clip/open it). The support is great. I didn't realize just how comfortable it is until I purchased and tried to wear other store brand and some brand name (VS) bras. HTH
