took off my bra for the first time in a week in front of hubby. he is asleep in the mornings. and all he had to say was "they dont look alike," then seeing it bothered me. "well one is round and the other is narrower" well, i am crushed. not just because i was expecting him to smile and say "boobies"...he is the most picky guy on earth, well that i know, and although i love him so much and he loves me...i am afraid that i may not heal perfectly symmetrical and getting my boobs done may turn out to be the biggest mistake i ever made. i dont know how to console myself because i keep thinking about it and start crying again.

nothing changes the fact that he is a perfectionist. i am just stupid that i ...i am just starting my period and this doesnt help. we have only made love once since surgery. five days ago. he is usually a once a week guy...weird i know...so i guess i am still on schedule, but somehow i thought, you know...boobies equals sex. i just wanted to be pretty

Your boobs have A LOT of changing to do. He is an @$$ for saying that. I think you look wonderful. When they are completely done dropping & fluffing, he will love them... Even though he should already. But when that time comes and when he wants to see and touch them all the time, I wouldn't even let him. He doesn't deserve it for making you feel like such crap. I am so sorry he hurt your feelings like that. Your boobs are going to look amazing!! BIG HUGS!!!!!*

Awww don't worry sweetie, they will even out and not look so wonky. It just takes time. I'm sorry DH said that, that really sucks. Perfectionist or not that doesn't give him the right to be insensitive, this is the time that he needs to be supportive. It's hard enough to get thru breast augmentation aS it is, and hurtful comments make it so much harder. I think you look beautiful girlie. Chin up, things will be better before you know it! Hugs!

Hey sweetie, don't be so hard on yourself you aren't stupid at all and the boobies will even out, one is just healing faster they will even out in the next few weeks trust me!! We all went through that so you aren't alone!! I bet he doesn't realize how dumb his comment was he just woke up right? And guys always say dumb stuff anyway! And as far as the sex maybe he just doesn't wanna hurt you right now?? It gets better girl!!

My PS told me that the first few months your muscles dictate the shape of your breasts. Once they D & F your implant will dictate the shape. Guys can be insensitive morons sometimes and just chalk it up to that. You should stare at his balls one day and say "wow, they really are starting to hang lower aren't they? age sucks"

EWWW MY BF IS THE SAME WAY. i am dreading the dropping and fluffing period with him bc he is so picky and a straight up perfectionist. its annoying but you have to realize, its just how he is. i dont think he meant harm by it, i bet he is lke that in lots of ways....doesnt make i right! haha but its just him. they are really pretty, i looked at your pics! there are going to be so many changes ahead, dont be upset. periods do it to me TOO

once you D&F and he's wanting to get all over them...say uh uh buddy, they're TOO GOOD for YOU!!!

men often speak w/o thinking...

maybe let hime know that instead of pointing out the "imperfections" he can be more supportive and sensitive to you and your feelings. he may not have a clue or even thought about that you are really emotional right now and will be for a few months.

maybe even find some post op recovery info to print out for him so that he understands what your body is going to do, along w/ the implants, as you heal and they D&F. just trying to help

i agree with all of the above posts! mine were off to in the beginning (slightly off still but i still love them! esp compared to my preBA boobies i would NEVER trade them for the world!)

give it time you are so super early still- and the sex thing? wait til you put on new lingerie- see what happens then lol. good luck! sorry that some boys have this innate inability to not be able to EDIT what they say or see that they are saying things that may hurt a girls feeling when she is being sensitive/PMSing, etc!

all the plastic surgeons on the site have stated how most breasts will NOT be perfectly symmetrical-

Sometimes Men won't admit but they are afraid some other guys might be checking out their woman. Don't worry mine looked funny when I first had them done also and they ened up looking really natural not funny looking at all. My DH was actually treating me like he was mad at me for doing it and still doesn't like it when I talk about it, I did it for myself not for him of course.
Guys will never understand how sensitive women can be, I know a million people can tell me how great they look and of course I focus on the one person's comment that was negative. Hang in there girl they are going to be killer!!
