Breasts hurt after wearing push-up bra??

Has anyone experienced this? I am almost 4 months post-op and any kind of uplift or push up bra hurts me. Is this normal and will it go away after I heal some more? Thanks!!

Are you sure your band size is appropriate? It could be where the underwire lays on your breasts that is causing the pain.

I get a bit sore sometimes after I wear any underwire bra. I think its the wire and I think that the bra's are not a perfect fit.

I'd love to get fitted perfectly for new bra's... just can't afford to pay all that extra money for gorgeous bra's. I did find a shop in my hometown that sells the Le Mystere bra (I'm in Australia) so I'll eventually go in and try one on and see why all the JBI girls love them.

Back to you though... maybe its the bra you're wearing?? Sometimes I just find that my new boobs are a bit achey. Sometimes I think hormones are involved for me too??

A warm pack on your chest where its sore really does help I've found... I get comfy watching T.V with a cup of tea and put the warm/hot pack on my chest. Feels better after that.

Sometimes after wearing my underwire all day they are a little sore and I'm happy to put the sports bra back on. I think it's from the compression. I haven't even tried push up bras yet PS said no to them for at least six months to let them D & F.

This is the first time I've ever tried wearing them and I think they are just umcomfortable period. My PS said to listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right then don't do it yet.

I'm over a year post op and push up bras still hurt. I only wear them for special occasions and only a few hours at a time. I think just the implant being shoved up and pushed together is what hurts me. My ps said it won't hurt anything though.

My PS has told me it can take 6 to even 8 months to fully heal. Listen to your body and if you get pain, I would hold off wearing them. Keep trying and I am sure before you know it you can be comfortable in a pushup bra. Good luck

I thought they were uncomfortable and didn't like the feeling (or the look on me) of the implant being so high on my chest, so I just opted not to wear the push ups with underwire.

Mine hurt a bit too when I put one on... I can't wear it more than 15mins if it has an underwire.

From my experience this is normal. I seemed to go back to wearing the sports bra as a relief from underwire... after a time you will feel better I'm sure and be able to wear underwire/push up for longer periods of time with no ill effects.

I know this post is really old but can anybody add to this. I am almost 2 months out and every bra but a coobie hurts. I have tried all different sizes, styles, brands and nothing is as comfy. The only problem with the coobie is they don't show off the girls like a push up.

Yes...same here. I'm around 2monthspost op and most bras are uncomfortable. I got sized at nordstroms so I know my bras are a good fit. I think for me, i just need to heal more. I'm wanting to try out the new VS push up bras without underwires....if one will fit me. I'm also wanting ti push the girls up without them getting sore .

I got 2 push ups from VS the very sexy one that are slightly padded and theyre actually comfortable to me. If i wear them for a longer period tho like 3+ hrs my girls start to feel heavy and kind of sore so putting them in a sports bra right after is a relief lol. But they look sooo good in those VS bras!
