Painkillers? Lortab?

What was everyone prescribed to take for the pain? I got lortab 5's..30 of them and was told to take them every 4 to 6 hours?!
I had lortabs after I gave birth. It was a choice between that or percocet.
Lortabs are very mild, especiall 5's...is that gonna be enough for the pain? every 4 to 6 hours, only one...it doesn't seem right to me...

Cephalexin for the antibiotic.

Exact same for me. I found that the Lortab was my BEST friend, and was shocked at how much it helped. I didn't really think it was working amazingly well until it wore off and I couldn't even sit up. Even on the Lortab, you're still likely to be very sore and stiff, but trust me...it helps! I took it every 4 hours for the first 2 days, then gradually moved up to every 6 hours by day 3, and was off of it by day 4-5.

I recommend taking some right before bedtime also (though you'll likely be sleeping off/on all day for the first 2-3 days). It sucks when you wake up at 2AM and there's nobody to get a Lortab for you but it hurts too much to move!

I also had Lortab along with the pain pump. Not sure of the dosage. Mine was in liquid form. I took it every 4 hours religiously for the first several days. I chose the Lortab because I had used it when I broke my foot and it didn't make me feel sick to my stomach.

My PS prescribed me percocet, but it was such a low dose that I was told to take it every 2 hours. I also had a muscle relaxant for muscle spasms and he also gave me Keflex - antibiotic.

I had percocets, was told to take 1-2 every 4 hours. My doc also prescribed Tylenol 3 - he was really looking out for my pain management. I ended up not filling the tylenoel script. Also had keflex as my antibiotic.

I had lortab (vicodin) when I had my wisdom teeth extracted, I found them to be much stronger than my percs.

I was just given Percocet to take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. I have never been on any painkillers before but it seems to work well. I do feel a little loopy on it though---kind of dizzy, out of it. It does handle the pain well!

CAINAZ will become famous soon enough
I had percocet (1-2 tabs every 4-6 hours), valium (1 tablet every 8 hours) and cephalexin (antibiotic). I also had supositories (how do you spell that!?) for nausea, but I refused to have those shoved up my ass! I only threw up once thank goodness, or DH was going to force them on me.

I've used Loritab in the past for a previous and they worked great for pain however when they were leaving my system I got really itchy, I believe it was a reaction, b/c as soon as I took another for pain I was fine. At the time I never even thought to call to see what was wrong and that it was possibly and allergic reaction, but I take other narcs so I'm not too sure.

I've had Lortab and Percocets for other things and I prefer the Percs, but they both work really well. My PS gave me Mepergan, which were really strong. They were great except they blurred my vision. I couldn't see straight for 3 days. It was so annoying, but I was also a little worried that I may never get my vision back.

Had Keflex for antibiotic. I'm sure you'll be fine with your Lortabs. If not, ask for the mepergan.
