New here :) Looking for Breast lift advice! Consult this Monday
Hi there everyone,
I'm totally new here, just joined about 5 minutes ago after reading up a bit and you guys seem to be really helpful to the people here so I figured I'd try to get some advice too The scoop on me: - 20 years old - Breasts size 38C - 5'2 - 154 lbs (Chubby but proportionate ![]() - I should mention that I do not want a BA at all, only a BL I developed very early and have had breasts since I was about 9 or 10. It sounds weird but I sort of always knew there was something kind of off about them, I just didn't know what. Later on I basically realised (by seeing friends breasts, pictures etc.) that my breasts were very low on my chest and that my nipples were extremely low on my breasts. It is only recently that I discovered I am not the only one with this type of problem and started feeling ok with wanting a breast lift. They are really the main thing holding me back from liking my body or at least accepting it to the point where I usually make my boyfriend turn around when I'm changing my shirt, don't like being on top during sex unless I'm wearing a shirt or bra and cross my arms over my chest when we shower together I was extremely depressed by the fact that I knew it would take me years to save for a BL so I figured what the hell, and talked to my parents about it. My mother and to a much lesser extent my father could see how much it was damaging my self esteem and body image, and have supported me so far in the idea of loaning me the money to pay for it. This Monday I have my first consultation. I am very excited. I was wondering if any of you guys would like to share any experiences with me that are very detailed such as describing how the whole process was for you from consultation to walking into the clinic on the actual day to leaving to healing and etc. Or you know anything you can offer is nice! Good experiences and bad are welcome of course! And also, were you scared? Thanks ![]() -Cyn |

New here, too!
Hey Cynthia!
I'm new here, too! I am 29 yrs old w/4 kiddos & mine were REALLY sad looking! I had a lift, but also had an aug. The lift part wasn't bad at all! I had a really great Dr. & he put me at ease, you'll know the one for you when you meet him. I suggest seeing more than one DR. for a consult before deciding. Be sure to ask to see some befor/after pics of their surgeries. I was very nervous going into surgery, b/c you're really putting a lot of faith in someone that you barely know! I was sure mine would be "botched"! But all of the worrying was for nothing. My surgery was 1 1/2 weeks ago & I love them! I had a "lollipop" lift & am still healing. The hardest part of the whole experience was that my Dr. made me wear a VERY TIGHT wrap for a week before I could even see them. Very anxious when he took it off. It was the only pain I ever really had, it hurt my ribs & back, but just really uncomfortable! Good luck w/whatever you choose to do! I'll be happy to talk more if you have any other worries! Thanks so much for the reply, it was really helpful
![]() I'm going to be on my way soon. I figured as much that I would know the right doctor when I found him/her, but it's nice to hear nonetheless. I'll let you know how it goes! |

Hi Im new to this forum also... I looked at pictures and read evrything a hundred times before I joined,,, I still do not post much, its just all new to me and am trying to figure it all out!!! Anyway I had bl- lollipop and ba 450 saline adjusts, full unders, 9-17-07, one week anniversary(yea) I was not sure about the lift, my wonderful ps talked with me about it, I agreed to the benelli lift but he made me promish if things didnt look right in post months I would let him do full lift(lollipop) during surgery he did not feel comf, with the way things were looking, so he done the lollipop lift,he did not tell me until the next morning at my post op visit, My dh noticed 1st, the incisions and was afraid I was going to be mad, BUT when I saw them, even though it had been less than 24 hrs. they were high & swollen, they looked 100% better than before,, Very purky!! The aerola incisions look great and from nipple down look really really good to I think the scars will heal great, They will be worth the perkiness!!! Sorry so long!

Also like you, I was always selfconscious around my hubby. I just wasn't happy with how they looked. But let me tell you, it has made a world of difference!!! You will be taking your shirt off all the time ![]() Make sure you find a lot of pics of women that have just had a lift- make sure you like that look. . .I know it is a huge decision and a lot of money but sometimes your self-esteem needs that. You will be happier in every part of your life! |

Hi Cyn, I didnt mention in my previous post about my bl and ba, I am 5'9, I am now within about 20-25 lbs. of my idea weight, ( and plan on getting now, with my insperations of my new girls and lift. I have all ways been a big girl, and like you proportioned, I played bb and vb and sb in school (which was a long time ago, class of 89) I have been married for 17 yrs now to my hs sweetheart, have 2 kids, 13 & 10, Over the years I put on weight, for a long time I was a 38D, In the last 9 months I lost 75 lbs, counting cal, exercising. So with that I went from a full d to a saggy b. I knew I wanted my d's back and wanted them perky, My ps told me that with a lift you loose cup size because you loose excess skin, so if you have very much that needs lifting, like I did, u can go down quite a bit in size, just something to consider. If you are worried about going to big in ba, you can get saline adjustables, like I did, ur ps does ur meas. and decides what sz implant for ur chest, the implant ranges cc's, u can add or take out up to 9 months. The implant seals of in 3 places, to prevent leaks, Something u might want to research, its totolly ur choice, I just wanted to let u know a little of my story and let u know how happy i am with my choices and new self esteem! Keep us posted
