What kind of lift did I get?
I got my ba and lift 9 months ago. Prior to my ba I did lots of research on the ba procedure, but none on the lift. Now I hear about all the different kinds of lifts - Benelli, Lollipop, Perilift, Crescent, and I don't even know what kind of lift I got!
For the implants my ps made crease incisions, and for the lift he made incisions on the upper half of my nipples, only the upper half. The lower half wasn't cut. My ps also mentioned that the lift was a "simple procedure" that involved only cutting and lifting of skin. What kind of lift is this? |

It sounds like a crescent lift. I had one on my right breast. My ps cut above my aereola and took some skin off, then attached back to my aereola. I have a very thin, fine line around the top half of my aereola. HTH

I had a crescent lift as well & it sounds like the same thing. I would guess that is what you had.

Sounds like a crescent lift to me as well. They take out a crescent shape of skin, when it's healed, you cant usually tell unless you scar horribly. Areola scars are pretty good at healing.

Yes, that's exactly what I got. The areola scars have healed very nicely, they're not noticeable anymore. The only difference I notice is that my areolas are bigger than before. My ps said it was because they're stretched by the extra volume of the implants inside, but I think it also has something to do with the incisions for the lift, because pre-ba my areolas used to get smaller when I felt cold and now they're always pretty much the same size.

I have more sensation than pre-ba. During the first few months I had less sensation, but it suddenly returned, more of it, especially on the right side.
